Default Burnout Paradise connection troubles XBOX 360

I bought this game a few weeks ago and everything was fine and I was able to go online. Now for the past few days I cant connect to the servers. I've been checking out all the other threads and changed various router settings, port forwarding etc and still no luck. I decided to check I had the latest update, so went to the store. However it wouldnt let me on as it said I wasnt connected to xbox live! I definitely was connected to live, and dont have any trouble with any other online game.

Any ideas?

Yep, already tried that. The only thing connected to the router was the xbox with an ethernet cable. Have reset the router multiple times, set a static IP, port forwarding etc. Still no luck.

When I first got the game and managed to connect there were 2 other PCs and a wireless hard drive connected to the router and I didnt have any issues.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

By 'store' do you mean the Xbox Live Marketplace on the Dasboard?
If so, it is odd that you cannot connect to it...

If it is the case you cannot connect to BP Servers for not having the latest update (and cannot access the XBLM via the X360), you can try to download Update 1.9 from here (the Online Marketplace) and when you sign into XLive on your console it should start to download without you having to try to get into the Marketplace.
Provided you have an 18+ account, all you have to do to download the update off of the Xbox Online Marketplace is to click the link, sign in with the e-mail and password you assigned to your GamerTag and then scroll down the page to "Burnout Paradise 1.9" and click "download to Xbox 360". Then just click the confirm buttons, sign in on your console and go to Active Downlaods to see if it is downloading. Once finished, try to connect to Xbox Live on the game again, and see if you have any more luck.

I hope this helps you resolve your issue,

I'm sorry, I should have been clearer. I have to problems at all with any other aspect of xbox live. When I try to connect to the Burnout Store in game, it says I am currently offline and do I want to connect. When I click ok, it always fails to connect, but I'm already online!

Have you tried to download Update 1.9 from the Marketplace on the Dashboard?
If you do not have the latest update, it won't allow you to connect to the servers, which could be why you cannot access the in-game Burnout Store.

i take it you have a modem and a router (to split the connection if so do the following )
plug the eathernet cable in to the modem not the router
resset the modem with eathernet cable in the back the go to your console an play bud

After having not worked for about 4 days, I tried again this morning and it's finally connecting. I hadn't done anything differently!

It could be that they were experiencing difficulties with their servers, and have now fixed it...
Had it not been for RRoD I was going to try to connect to BP Servers to see if I had any more luck connecting than you did as I thought that there may have been X360 Burnout server problems, but was unable to do so. However, I saw nothing about any issues on Criterion Games' website.

At least its's working again for you, though.

My friends were able to connect OK, and I was actually trying to join them. Not got a clue what it was, but at least it's working now.

Well, looks like I spoke too soon. Came offline for a bit and can now no longer connect. This is just getting annoying now. Might have to give up on this game.

if so then put the eather net cable into the back of the modem then to the xbox
you should get a conection that way
or you could contact criterion games on this matter sure they would help out
use ther twitter to contact them or use ther mail box mail address

No, I dont have cable. And its definitely not a problem my end, since I can connect to everything else and play other 360 games online. And it was working yesterday morning, then I left it for an hour, and it stopped working again.

yes i know this dude as it happens to me
i have this problem too and it only ever happens when playing burout no other games
it's got the point of me only having the ps3 running with the eathernet cable into it
when i have my pc running at the same time i get kicked all the time from games i have leared over the months to stopp this is by joining a room with less players 1 2 people an that s it to stay connected unless the host starts a new room then i dont get kicked so the choices are
dont play
get host to restart room
or join rooms with only 1 or 2 people in it (boring )
but it works am just tryig to help thats all .

Yeah, thanks for the help. It seems to work intermittently now, and I havent changed anything at all!

I'll bear your advice in mind, and just hope the problem sorts itself out. (It managed to let me online fine last night)
