Default Have the servers been down for three days?

Hi folks,

I just bought BP for PC, and I've been unable to login since my purchase. I have examined my firewall, and it is logging successful connection attempts with the server, but I continually get the message that the servers are unavailable. The EA BP page (http://burnout.ea.com/community/prof...rthis&plat=360) says that the servers are down for maintenence. Is this the same thing that everyone is seeing? I ask, because I don't understand how the new DLC release date could've happened while the servers were down. I've also yet to hear anyone else complain about failure to login lately.

Is it just me?

Thanks,
Orthis

Thank you very much for responding, Fightermaverick. It is good to know that I'm not the only one. I've contacted support but haven't heard anything yet. Maybe everyone is still on holiday from E3.

Cheers,
Orthis

I've shot support request e-mails out to EA, criteriongames@mailbag.co.uk (haha), and mailbag@criteriongames.com. No joy yet, but I'll keep everyone posted.

Cheers,
Orthis

Since the first form-mail response I got from EA Support, I've heard nothing. It has been more than a week. Same for Criterion's Bugzilla and catch-all e-mail. There are other, similar, bugs on the Bugzilla site, and all of them appear similarly neglected. Is this typical? I really want to get online!

Cheers,
Orthis

look back in the tech area of the burnout forum in ea and look back as far as 4 months ago read through them (posts ) and you may find an answear you need .

I'm happy to say that I've been given a solution by another member on the Bugzilla system. A fellow named Alejandro suggested that I disable my webcam, and strangely enough - it worked!

I just spent a few minutes burning around in the boost specials!

Awesomeness!
