I totally agree!

The game is outstanding, but I wouldn't go as far as saying.

I'm glad that you enjoy the game and that you tried the demo for yourself without basing your opinion directly from those two reviews!

It's always better to get hands on experience with a game, if possible, before you buy it, rather than just reading reviews; you'll get to know whether you like it and that's what's important, right?

Also, welcome to the forum and please don't evade the swear filter (this is a family friendly forum)!

I am so sorry for that

But what I read from there review is very unfair!!! The game has many unique point, and new futures no one used it ever before.
And the great balance in open city and keeping a the futures of scoring for ever road and many many great point in the off line
Simply the best use for ever thing in racing games

Also the online is lag less, there is nooooo lag and ever thing run in fulll speeeeeed

This is crazy! rally u did massive thing

What make me crazy when they said: the old crash is better!!!! OR u have to go back for re start the race !! or u have to see the map many time during the rice !!

The game is perfect and what keeping wary what u will do in the next game
u did every thing

Sorry again , and now I will back to the game

The best way is to always try the game for yourself, as not everyone will share the same opinion on things. I'm glad that you like it.

glad you like it mate. i never judge a game by a review because the reviewers have to write about some thing to fill the page so they write about some bad things

This is actually my first burnout game. I previously only considered the series to just be in the racing genre. I ignored it because I went with Grand Turismo for more realistic simulation. Unlike other genres if you own one racing game they're pretty much the same so no point in owning a bunch. The free demo is what got me here. The open map free-roaming layout of the game is what surprised me. That along with the seamless transition from single player to multiplayer online with the use of the quick menu will be this game's legacy. I can easily see that becoming an industry standard for free-roaming games from now on. The production of the the game is outstanding as well. Great physics and well tested. I've played 300+ hours and only recall 2 glitches not related to lag. both happened during respawn. I havent even found or heard of any exploits in the game. tried to do a marked man driving backward so the AI would avoid me but the event ended itself before long. Outstanding job from the EA team.

I like the new format; the old burnout style was getting stale, good to see there's still some developers who're willing to change-up their franchises.

I love the game, and this is the only game I had ever pre-ordered, but that was down to the demo being in the playstation store online, although it is frustrating having to drive all the way back to start a race, it gives you the chance to just cruise and look for billboards/smashes/jumps that you have'nt spotted yet

and this is defintaley the best online game I have, even better than Skate, and I love that game too, but have'nt played it since I got burnout p/s
