Where is my World Rank?

Why is it when I go to my Player Progress Summary it says my world rank is 0? I have been playing this game since the day it came out...have 145 hours in as a matter of fact.....but it says my World Rank is 0....what do you need to do to get a world rank? Have done all the smashes, billboards, jumps, stunt runs, races, marked man, road rage.....I do not understand.

Every event in the single player is unranked.

You need to compete with other people online in Ranked Races, you get points toward your world rank depending on your finishing position and takedowns. Points are also awarded in the freeburn time between ranked races

but I have competed in 8 races and have taken down other cars,but still no world rank...when I do a race and it finishes it says I have points....where do these points go?

you have to do enough Ranked races, i dont know the exact number but if you do at least 50 you will be ranked i think or 10 wins? or a certain ammount of points? hmm im not exactly sure now. it will say how many ranked races you have played on the "show players" in the start menu in a ranked match. if you have no ranked races then you have been racing online in unranked matches, choose ranked under the unranked option. you can see your rank and points on the leaderboards which is under the ranked matches option in the start menu.

Silly question...How do you create a ranked race....I thought I seen it on there before but cant find it now...it just says Create race, and when I select it it just says it will create or search for an unranked race...does there have to be 8 people? I am confused, thought for sure I had done ranked races before.

On the 360 it is D-Pad right, tap down until you come across ranked race (directly under player race) then d-pad right to bring up create or search.. i think lol

On PS3, no idea lol

Ya we just figured it out...you have to be offline then press right on the D pad....in a race right now..thanks for the help...hope to get our rank up now...better than 0 anyways...

its not 10 races and ur ranked. i think i have 12 or so. but yea i still dont have a world rank. i will jus play longer lol. p.s. i need to finish the 3 player challenges, think mayb 5 left. psn skilzz88

well tangle got ranked since my last post and he had 8 wins and 34 losses... now he has 12 wins and 50+ races played... its gotta be one of the three... 10 wins, 50 total games or when you finally get enough points...

The only way to earn ranking points is by finishing ahead of other players in ranked races. The more players you finish ahead of and the higher their ranking the more points you will get.

You will also lose ranking points if you finish behind other players, this includes disconnecting which the game will classify you as finishing in last place. However you never lose ranking points if you have less than 200.

Takedowns do not earn you ranking points, neither does freeburning between ranked races.

The first race I did, I got a rank...so dont think it has to do with how many you do...not sure though...My husband did about 10 races yesterday and our rank jumped up and down like crazy...was kinda interesting to watch..anyone do the Burnout Rule the Roads? It is kinda fun too...trying to win blocks from your friends...we owned 8...then one guy just got 9th Street and we lost em all...funny how one street does it..you gotta watch how the blocks are linked together.

hey man i have done 256 races and i still have no world rank only won like 77 or so but still no ranking if you have had the game for such a long time i think the way to go about getting a ranking is start new user .or just dont care which is what i choose to do . i have heard that other people may have glitched alot thus taking ther ranking away from them .dont know if its true though .
best idea wipe data start again do nothing wrong not saying you have but just an idea start again .then it should work

road rules are cool i do alot of them i have online road rule 30 sum thing not one road rule can take them all though you really need to just run up an down at the start of a road till the end of the road i have 0.03.10 sec on watt street i think i own most of the road up by the beach which is cool
here a tipp for you if you have the v16 venge racer try that it is very quick car ther used to be a list of which cars to use on which roads its so out dated now but still works lawrence road use v16 coming down the mountaine start from the top tunnel drive on the srong side keepin boost at max then fly through lawrence tunnel youll get a good time on it

road rule so rock
not to mention the fact i get kicked out so many games for taking so many road rules lol its fun .
