Release date speculation is pointless and futile
I think the sims will be released on April 11th 2009
I have no evidence to back it up, I may have read something that led me to believe it, I may have checked my horoscope and believe that Is Laurus or Trabdo is in the ascendent or some such trollop signifies that said date is the correct one.
Do you know how much it matters? Not one bit and I find the whole thing all rather tiresome. The game will be released when the production cycle is over and the game has gone Gold, then it will be produced, put on DVDs and shipped out all over the World where you will buy it.
Maybe on April the 11th. Probably not.
So please old chaps and ladies, stop with the speculation, it's just wasting your time and ours.
I understand, it makes you feel better to believe that the game is less time away than the other release date that you saw.
I used to spend days wishing away my hours and days and weeks until the release date of a game. (like September 17th 2004 for the Sims 2, that was a long summer).
Heed my advice young people, your lives are worth more than a release date, enjoy your hours, enjoy your minutes and enjoy your seconds. Because you'll never get them back.
