What a game it was! I celebrated the night away and woke up this morning with one beamer of a smile!
Great game, full of incident! United definitely had the first half, and Chelsea were very lucky to equalise on half time, where we should have gone in 3-0 up. Chelsea no doubt had the second half, and also probably could have scored 3 too!
Extra time both sides had one blinding chance, Lampard hitting the bar and Giggs' shot cleared by a JT header with the keeper nowhere! After a stupid Drogba wrapping up his Chelsea career becoming the villian rather than the hero, it was down to the dreaded penalties!
The players that had penalties saved/missed you'd have never expected, and despite feeling a little sorry for John Terry (despite screaming aaaaaaaahhh at the tv when he missed), I'm glad Van Der Sar saved from Anelka, with Giggs scoring the last pen for Utd just before.
Fantastic 3 times winners now and more importantly we did it for the Busby Babes of 58, 50 years on our team is just as brilliant and will continue the legacy!

I spent yesterday smiling my head of.
