...for my work five a sides to start again next wednesday... first few games I'll be unfit but hopefully will have my shooting boots on! 47 last season... I was averaging a hattrick per game up to the last few games of the season, but the ratio still ended up over 2 goals per game... record 7 goals in one outing.

Nice! A hat-trick per game is pretty impressive. What position do you play?
I play 5a-side, too. My 'record number of goals in one game' is 9 (competitive, too), as my team won 19-3, about a fortnight ago.
I also scored 7 goals in a 6a-side game (again, competitive) the following Monday, as my team won 18-0. :D
"Competitive" means in officially recognised (by the F.A.) leagues. :)

Thats awesome, you must be quite the player.. I play generally forward... either playing behind an out and out striker (or more to the case someone lazy that doesn't run back to defend!) I'd base myself on a Carlos Tevez type (as I'm 5'8'', so short but tough!)
Our teams generally rotate, have wanted to get involved in a officially recognised 5-a-side, but most have family/job commitments that means they don't have the time, which is a shame as our best 5 would do pretty well i think.Posted 14-08-2008 at 04:24 PM by Rgmonster
