That's right. 150 headshots (+++ in some cases, i think my game total is ~5500) with every weapon in the game, and im loving it. The best bit is that i dont even have an Xbox Mic to brag about it with! :| On the real plus side, most of the time my entire team follows me round waiting for me to die so they can get a go with the Golden Gun off my corpse.

In all seriousness now though, The Vampire came yesterday. From Devon - to my house.
And i dont care who knows or what their opinion is, because it was amazing :)

We bought and signed birthday cards, and my attempt to sign them in the most annoying way possible (for her - people - so dont be offended!) was a good one.
We ALMOST went into La Senza and bought stuff - those who know will know, those who dont, wont.
We talked my Mom - a little, she wasn't in a very good mood. especially as it was her job to look after the dog. The new dog? Bart? i mentioned him in a previous blog, well, he didnt take to Becky. He was scared of her ["new person"] and snapped at her a few times, she was okay though, i think she was just pretending to be scared for cuddles.
We played Wii! She beat me at baseball but that thing just annoys me - i managed to beat her at bowling though, then we played Superstar Tennis and we kicked *** in doubles together. :)

On Monday, i was glad i didn't have to go into work! Because it was BHM, they said they couldn't let me in to work because it would cost them too much to pay me the OT.
Instead, on Sunday and Monday, i put up my new wardrobes from IKEA! they took ages to come, but they finally did and we had a chance to put them up. After i'd rendered my left hand useless with having them stabbed with nails in the process of taking the old ones down, i was suitably pleased with the result :)

We also had a new dog. Not really, a friend of my mom's went on holiday and we get to look after her dog, Bart. He's sort of taken to me i think, because i was the first to give him some food on my own account - which is an important sign of affection to dogs. Now he sleeps with me, on my bed, right inbetween my legs, which is sort of annoying, but apparently thats how he sleeps with this mate of my mom's, so im slightly more okay about it that way.
We only had one fight on our hands. Mom and Dad were coming back from Brum, and ended up carrying a lot of stuff in with the doors wide open. It was at this point the house across the road decided to open their door and their excitable dog bounds across to our house and meets Bart, they then continue to growl at each other, i managed to grab Bart's colar [SP?!] and pull him away as he went for this dog though, so i did feel like quite the hero :p

Played some guitar really loud, as usual, because the room has had a little bit of a re-arrangement session so the stereo is now blasting at me - which is a good thing, even if it sounds to the contrary. One of the wardrobes has a large mirror for a door, so i'll admit to the internet that i did pull some shapes while i was playing the solos infront of it - if you looked as cool as i did then though you would've too!

My mom and dad brought back a Wii from Brum too, so now we have a Wii. i hated those things at first, "only an idiot would buy into a gimmick like that" was my key argument, but mom wanted one, so.. we got one! i must admit, i did have fun playing it. We were only messing on Wii Play but it was still good, even if i looked a little stupid to everyone else. I would never want to play one on my own though, i couldn't think of anything less interesting. It's definitely a "Party" console. We have Wii Play, Wii Sports, "Board games" [= :|] and Superstar Tennis. Im Sonic. Everytime. Him or one of the Jet Set Radio characters, cause they're cool too.

Becky's coming here tomorrow - cant wait, there'll be another blog for that i think, but i'll have to promise to keep it PG. She wont be able to resist the Wii though i think, we'll be playing that for a while.

I got rang up by the Agency Yesterday morning telling me they had a job for me! The Range. Despite its status as the scurge of the universe, i decided money in the bank was more important than personal beliefs.
It wont be the first time that has happened in the world, so i cant help but not feel bad.
I was given a bit of short notice - I had to start that day, at 12.00 :|
It was okay, i managed to get down, got shown around, and started my shift. Im covering for someone who's ill, so its only for 2 weeks, but i work full time - 8 hours.
According to the sheet im on £5.52 per hour though! that rocks. I make as much as the Vampire makes in a weekend.. in a day!
The job is basically warehouse and stock control. The physical stock control i mean, not the clicking on the computer type. I lift boxes and palettes and put them out ready for shelving (i dont do the shelving) then at the end of the day i help clean up! mm.

Okay, so the job's not that great - but no job's great, its not one of those "careers" people get really is it?

So, mm. i hope nothing goes wrong really. Some misunderstandings about shift times today i think will happen. Im worrying about that, but my contract sheet says i work 12 - 8. So that's what im "assuming". they can ring me up if i was supposed to be in earlier, but the information source of this shift change wasn't COMPLETELY reliable, so..

Back to the title - No gaming time for a while. Glad i got those Golden Guns (only the Uzi left) before hand or else i'd be tempted.
I have to wake up to start Uni work at 8.00 everyday now too, or else i'll never get it done.

Down to business:
Me and my Brother got it those were the hardest 5 Headshots to EVER get, but now, i have the prized Golden Shotgun. What is it, i hear you cry? Well, basically, throughout playing the game i need to accumulate 150 headshots against other players online with 2 types of shotgun. This game (COD4, btw) is not an easy game to use a shotgun in, let me tell you. I had to resort to going completely "Sneaky" and walking up behind people and touching them before giving them a cranium full of slug.
Hence the title, the shotgun empties its 4-round clip in about 2 seconds, therefore you need to reload a lot :p
Now i have the Gold AK, SVD, and Shotgun.
Not too far off the LMG either.

Down to more business:
Today was awkward.
Last night i couldn't sleep and managed to get my ears to intercept my parents talking about me and it wasnt particularly spirit lifting but its all happened before.
Then i went to hand in my Tesco's application form. Dammit im cool. Everyone has to start somewhere i guess.
What amazed me about my trip down town split itself into two quite different points i'd like to have a rant about.
Ladies - yes, its summer, but when its tipping down with rain on a saturday, must you dress like such a smut? I mean, those shorts that are so small that you can see their underwear poking out the bottom - if indeed they wear any - were EVERYWHERE, and it was SUCH a horribly cold and rainy day. it amazes me the length some women will go to to get laid my some big toothed loser with a line cut out of his eyebrow and his hat strictly at 45 degrees. Sexy. I must admit i myself sometimes want to bear skin when i see one, particularly the bit wrapped around my middle finger.
The other point i mentioned earlier was that how many of the people i'm so fond of from before are Polish! or at least something like that. Seriously, i was walking round some areas of the centre - the town CENTRE - knowing that if i were to ask for directions i'd get a shrug and a mutter about Polaski.
However, in Next i did see three of my old lady friends - thats friends who are ladies thank you very much :p - one has retained her prettiness, shes the type you'd expect to be working in a place where they obviously only hire good looking women. The other two, not so much, but they were more talkative which is how i remember it actually, Pretty girl was the type who'd sit reading her notes and smile at you every now and then, not the type to hold in depth conversations

I hope i can get away with calling her the pretty one. maybe i should change that to prettiER - but still ugly - >.> :lol:

I proceeded to return home and start my work, a presentation on Tuesday about a product i've been designing. It's a watch, that is going to replace the PDA/Personal organiser. Now i know many phones do this sort of thing but not into the depth i was taking my watch. it looks very cool as a little un-finished model i must say.
Then i talked to my vampire mm. even after a lalalala day she can manage to cheer me up and i had a few giggles, till she let me know that she hates it when i play xbox because im always get too stressed. Which is true, but to hear it from her as a "look, promise you wont stress out at it too much this time?" was a bit of a hard blow to take, im sure anyone reading this can understand that.
Then i had some gigles with my brother, obtaining the shotgun, and watching my own teamates slaughter me in an attempt to pretend they had it. haha, that sort of thing usually would get on my nerves but it felt good to be the object of someone's desire.

Im not exactly finding life much fun at the moment. I can't stand the people i have to share it with.
Today, i lost 95% of my work, because my hard drive failed. It took AGES to load it all up off my backups, which aren't 100% recent so i dont know why i bothered.
Then, my laptop decided it would like to notify me that i'd lost it all every 3 seconds with one of those XP yellow bubble messages, causing the processor to grind to a halt. Thank you laptop.
After a while of this, i am not ashamed to admit the laptop made a new friend, the floor. It was love at first sight, i think, because it stayed there for a while and once it was torn from its new friend - it refused to switch on for a while.
No one to blame but myself i guess.
[Obviously, its working now, by the way]

I redid the work i'd lost and found my sketching skills had diminished greatly in my mood. mm. just what i needed.

Shortly after, the Recruitment Agency [i've signed up for in attempt to see the Vampire more often] rang, to tell me i couldn't do another job they found due to my Uni deadlines left to fill. Thanks again.
I was as pleasant as i could have been on the phone however, and faking niceness always leaves you a little more annoyed, am i right?

What's more is, after i'd stressed myself out so much my head was throbbing, i went to sleep. Woken up my dad asking if i'd picked up his prescription at 3.00, like he'd asked.
Of course i hadn't, due to the fact my laptop's first date was roughly at the same time and i'd been sleeping since i'd told you all.

Mm. I have.. well.. i was going to say unusual but how the hell do i know what's usual and what isnt. i have relationships with my parents that I consider to be stressful. But thats for another blog.

What's worse is the Vampire is trying her best to listen to me and stuff but it's not really helping. i'd rather she just went and had fun tonight than worried about me too much, i hate the idea of dumping my problems on someone else, not least because i've done this all before - i think i can handle it, and i have done before for a long time. Im not used to having someone genuinely care and all it causes is negative reactions so mm.
