Spain v England: Realistic view....
Dismal. Poor. Un-organised. Dis-interested.
All of the above were said by Alan Brazil on Talksport this morning, regarding Englands performance in the 2 - 0 defeat against Spain last night.

Maybe that is why he is a Radio DJ and Fabio Capello is the England manager.......
Ok, so we lost - but, we lost to the current EUROPEAN Champions and CURRENT World number 1 ranked team:
People talk about Passion and commitment, but sometimes you get outplayed. In my opinion, that is exactly what happened.
I am fed up of the media Hyping England to win the world cup off the back of one win, then slamming the team/manager to the floor. The media commentary itself is becoming a spectator sport in its own right. I know there are discussions to be had about games/matches/events, but these need to be put into perspsctive:
1: It was a Friendly
2: As above, against a Team ranked higher than England, indeed than ANYONE else in the world.
3: England had big gaps of first team players
I am not making excuses. We got beaten by a better team. I thought David Beckham made a difference when he came on, not only by almost setting up Cole for a debut goal, but also the passion we all want from our team is clear to see when Becks pulls on the England shirt.
I am not qualified enough to give an in depth technical analysis of the performance, but I am a TRUE fan of England. I didn't see a team who went on the pitch to lose. I saw an England side, with some fill-in roles, get beaten by a better team. It's good to see the young blood put into a game like that, against opposition like that and goes to show that in top flight international football, there is a gulf between Us and the high flyers.
If you saw Brazil v Italy, you will understand - England are better under Capello, no doubt. And can we please judge the team on competitive results, not friendlies.
