My day trip out!

As some of you know I haven't been on this weekend the reason is because I went to Longleat on Saturday and rather write all my feelings about it into my diary which no one reads I've decided to tell you all. Aren't you lucky?
So after a 3 hour drive with nothing to look at apart from other cars, trees and my brother snoring in the seat next to me, we finally arrived, we hit a bit of rain on the way, but nothing to ruin our day.
We first went into the maze, because we were waiting for the train which came at 12:45, half an hour later we were still in there, thankfully my brother eventually found the way out, and we got to the train just in time. The view from the train was quite nice, and refreshing as it wasn't going that fast (about walking pace I reckon) and you could see lots of stuff from the park and everything.
After that we went to the butterfly area, and as soon as we walked in my parents glasses fogged up.
The butterflys in there are really really gorgeous, one actually landed on my mums hand! After that we had some lunch and then we went into the house, and believe me, it's GORGEOUS. We entered the oldest part first and there were moose heads and dear heads and even an extinct Irish elk head. To cut a long story short the house was amazing, and I loved the dresses they had on show and the staircase, and I found out that the current Lord Bath is related to Henry VIII! You don't find that out everyday do you?
Then we went into Old Joe's mine, which was fun and we saw some bats! They're not as creepy as you'd expect them to be, and they're actually really sweet looking and cute.
And that was my day!
