Yesterday I finally coughed up and bought 13 months from Xbox Live Membership, Xbox Live 12 Month Gold Membership, Xbox Live 12 Month Membership cards, Xbox Live 12 Month Cards - InstantXboxCards.com. I had first tried to buy it from scrable76 but then found out that they don't sell any more and got a refund. I decided to risk it and buy off a random website and about 20 minutes after I bought it I got the Email with the code. I would defiantly recommend this to readers as you can save a bit of money. I was wary at first but after trying it I will definitely buy from them again.

My free one-month trial ended a couple of week ago now and I'm working out what to buy next. I would like to buy The Lost and Damned addon pack to GTA IV and Rob Drydeks Fanasty pack for skate 2. Both of those add up to 2200 points which costs about 18 quid. I would also like to buy Need For Speed Most Wanted which sell for about £15. I would also like a new phone which will cost a fair amount so the question is which do I buy first and in what order do I buy the rest?
All of that added together is above £100 so I have to decide which one I want the soonest.
It's a hard choice...

After spending hours trying to connect my Xbox to my laptop it has finally worked. I've just downloaded the skate 2 demo which is awesome and GTA IV is 10 times better than offline play.
My gamertag is grahamsubaru so add me if you want but say your forum username so I know who you are please.
The games I currently own are GTA IV, Midnight club, Ping Pong, Kung Fu Panda and Lego Indiana jones. Soon I will get skate 2 also and maybe NFS MW.
Well that's it,
It's taken me a new TV, 10 hours of work, 9 blogs and a hell of a lot of patience but my Xbox is now up and running!
Yay! :D

A couple of days ago a friend came over and brought a wireless network adapter so we could play online. As it was the first time I went online I was entitled to 1 month free trial of Xbox live gold which I started. Then wen he left he took his adapter which means I can't get online but I'm slowly using up my free trial. I am thinking of buying a wireless network adapter but the cheapest one I've found is £44.99. Over the past days I have been trying to turn on ICS on my laptop so that if I plug the Ethernet cable from the Xbox to the laptop the laptop will pick up the wireless signal and send the internet to the xbox. For some reason when I try to click properties of the LAN which is where the setting to turn ICS on is it says "an unexpected error has occurred". I searched on the Microsoft website and it says it's because of a corrupted registry and gave instructions on how to fix that. When you replace the registry you can access the properties of the LAN and turn on the ICS.
So now you might be wondering why I'd want to buy a network adapter for my xbox if I can turn on ICS. Well it turns out that with replacing the corrupted registry a side effect is that your internet is disabled. I have tried using the internet wirelessly and plugging it into the router but it refuses to connect to the internet. In the end I had to do a system restore to get the internet back but that means that the registry is re-corrupted.
I'm not sure if I should go through the hassle of trying to get it to work or just to buy a wireless network adapter.

I have also hooked up the TV to a new Sound system which is awesome and have just now been testing out each bit of equipment. GTA IV and DVDs sound and look awesome! It is a bit better than the previous telly I was talking about:

:p
The next thing I'm going to do is buy a S-Video cable so I can play PC Games on the telly. :)

Today I went out and bought a 32" LCD TV and am loving the heck out of it. GTA looks perfect on it and the sound is awesome. The only faults I can find with it is that the refresh rate is slightly slow but I'm so immersed with GTA IV that I don't notice. :p The next challenge is to hook up the sound system but right now I'm just pleased that my Xbox works. I have linked it the TV using an HDMI cable that I got from woolworths with 50% off because of their sale which works a lot better than scart...
At the moment I don't really have a place to put it as we don't have a TV table but I am going to Ikea tomorrow to get one.

Now I'll be able to complete GTAIV and maybe try the other games that I've got but haven't tried because I was to engrossed with GTA. I've only got a few more missions left to do to do. I still have a two week wait in between giving the TV back and Christmas though so I still hav to play non-stop. :p

I haven't been online much in the past week because I've just been playing GTA IV non-stop! It's such a good game and I've just unlocked the whole map so I can explore everywhere. :)
Unfortunately today my friend wants his TV back so I won't be able to play GTA until Christmas when I get a new TV my self. Even so it was fun playing the game but a bit annoying that I've played half the story line and then have to stop for three weeks. But anyway I might as well cram in all the Xbox time I can get so goodbye. :p

We spent the afternoon taking turns on GTA IV while eating junk food and talking lalalala which was fun but the person who let me borrow his TV needs it back by Friday so if you'll excuse me I'll go off and have a hard-core Xbox session until Friday. :p

Never done a blog before so this won't be brilliant. :p

I recently purchased an Xbox 360 from amazon for £195. It included a premium Xbox, and extra controller, GTA IV and two other games. It arrived yesterday which I was happy about. :) I spent ages unpacking it and putting all the wires in the correct places and I turn it on and it doesn't work. :( I have spent ages trying different things and the picture just won't come up on the TV. I am sure there is nothing wrong with the Xbox because you can sort of see the image in the background but it flickers and is semi transparent. The sound is fine however which perplexes me. I don't know what to do than to get another TV but I bought this Xbox in time for a party I'm having on Sunday so it will have been useless me getting it. I'll take a look at the TV and Xbox manuals but if they are no help I'll have to wait until I get a new TV which will be very annoying. I might be able to take it around to a friends house in the mean time though.
