I got my long awaited Beta key last night took like forever to load and configure everything and guess what
Most pathetic game I have ever played good for maybe 5 or 6 year old's
gave away my key amd would suggest everyone else do the same
But thats MY opinion

Though I am grateful that it is FREE, I won't be playing this game. Not because of bugs and glitches, I can understand that as it is a beta... rather the gameplay is not fun (planes =

), maps are extremely boring, guns feel like pebble shooters (maybe upgrades will be better), third person was terrible. I could go on..

Overall, it wasn't enjoyable. At all. It's a kids game like you said, for 5 or 6 year olds

So people won't criticize me for not 'testing' the game, well, I did, and I found a typo

Under the "Options/Video" tab, you forgot to put a y in "Quality"

That isn't to say it's horrible. I asked in there about how they felt, and the majority seemed to like it.

i got the key , its fun for a free game,
and i think its better than 2142 and 2 , cuz those 2 games are laggy and stupid
grenades as strong as an artillery?c4 *****s?bunny hopping?evil lag of doom?
heroes doesnt have any of that

youll be missed. found it quite fun and quite well done for a freebie its pretty good, you can earn points to make your char look different and change for different guns to suit style etc as well makes it intresting. didnt get any lag but then im not in austraila.

I have to agree with you first 2 guys. I finally got my beta key the other day after applying to both betas in the past. After spending absolutely ages actually getting into the game, I first noticed that the environment was very pretty. Hard to believe its the 2142 engine. But that was the last of the good impressions. (I won't rant, i'll give a list of things that come to mind.)

The game is simply awful. I have no idea how DICE managed to make it that wrong. No autobalance, no sprint, the third person view is just as bad as we thought it would be, no minimap, rubbish character designs, can't change classes in-game, can't change teams in-game, it takes 8 shotgun shells or 30 bullets to kill an enemy, but only takes 3 or 4 sniper rounds or knife slashes, all the vehicles are a joke.

And the sound effects and voice overs are the most irritating, obnoxious and downright terrible sound effects i've ever heard. We get it, it's cartoony. You could try and be even a little bit subtle no? Apparently not. DICE have opted for the "constantly shove it in your face" route instead.

Now I was expecting a dumbed down Battlefield game. We all were. But i was shocked at just how low it was. Was any thought put into a lot of these game breaking things i've mentioned? Oh btw I've made it to level 7 before I got utterly sick of it so i've had a good few hours of experience with the game. I also understand that as a Battlefield fan, i'm not the target audience. That doesn't excuse it though.

Just my 2 cents from a long time BF fan

Wouldn't surprise me if some of the moaning minnies were plants from Activision or something...

I might give it another try when some more maps are made, I did try it briefly again the other day and was supprised to get no lag. The weapons are weak though and I hate 3rd person, it should've on been 1st person!!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhBOOMMMMMMM

TF2 is 1st person, damn DICE decided to be different, grr. Glad it's free because i wouldn't pay for a 3rd person shooter.

They put the worst things from Battlefield series together and we get BF Heroes.

Laggy, glitchy and it isn't fun at all. you have no Idea when the enemy is (finally) going to die, and when it does his body glitches around. I will stick to the main branch of the series, BFBC foreva!

Do you know what the word BETA means?

Blalalahe game is awesome. Reminds me a little of BF1942, but not as serious. There working on the new update today. All of the major bugs are gone. It will even have a new site layout. You really should check it out.

If you have looked at the BF:H forums a little, you would have noticed that BF:H is now out for everyone (a soft launch). It was silently opened to everyone yesterday. They will have an official announcement soon.

its ok ... nothing special, just fun and entertaining. Nothing to take serious, but something to relax on and have fun with a bunch of RL friends. Casual style all the way and i like it. Still sick, that EA is finally launching an korean grind game .. but its free so i dont care.
