All I have to say is why put on the main homepage available 2008 when its not going to be ready untill 2009???? what the should have put was BETA testing opens 2008 full game opens 2009 to avoid confusion and also give more news please

couldn't care less about this now, by the time it finally gets released there will be other noveltys that appeal more.

EA/DICE should have rolled this out sooner.

Its such a shame it's not on OS X

EA are probably the one major company that does release it's games for OS X and i'm quite fond of them for that, but i haven't heard any plans for BF:H to be ported.

I was looking forward to this.

I'll have to wait to see the Specifications as to whether i can run it through my virtual machine, but the game will always run better through the machine's intended OS.
... plus it means i have to set up Windows to use a connection...

i no that u r all saying early 2009, but there are rumors that the beta will be rereleased in early 09 and the full game will not be available till mid 2009

Well perhaps the delays mean that there are things to work on that if left upon release will have most of you moaning aboiut how cr*p EA/ DICE are for releaasing a BETA.

There will be plenty of people who will play so if you lose interest then so beit.

When its done its done and will be released - it will be 2009. Im an optimist ;p

Battlefield Heroes Beta Key Signup

Hello Heroes,
Starting today you can register your interest in taking part in the next phase of the Battlefield Heroes Beta.
If you already received a Beta Key for the earlier Beta phase, you will be good to go. So you don’t need to sign up again. When the Beta starts, you will have access.
So, how do I sign-up?

To be able to sign up you must be logged in. If you don’t have an EA Account already, you can sign up for one here.
Once you are logged in, head over to the sign-up form.

When does the next phase of the Heroes Beta start?

How do you decide who gets a Beta invite?

Please keep in mind that we’ll be giving out Keys in the fairest way we can, which is as follows:
Firstly, everyone still on the waiting list from the first Beta phase.
Secondly, everyone else, including those who sign up on this page.

We're not sending out emails yet. As soon as we open the Beta again we will announce it on the site.
So, when do I get an email?

What is a beta?
As we develop a new game it goes through lots of phases. The final ones are called “Beta” and “Launch”. Launch is when we open the game up for the whole world to play. Before we do that we need to ensure everything is ready.
The Beta phase is like a rehearsal for the launch; where we test everything out with a small audience before allowing the rest of the world to play. In a beta you are likely to find lots of small things that don’t work as they should, we call these things “bugs”. We’ll need your help to find these bugs, so we can squash them.
