The Art of Warfare (TAW) was formed in March of 2001 with members who played Delta Force: Land Warrior together. Since then TAW has added more games and has grown in membership to 15 games and within one member under 550 at the time of this post.

TAW continues to adapt itself to the ever-changing landscape of PC gaming by taking on new gaming and organizational challenges, reorganizing itself, and leading the way in online gaming through the expanding vision of it's leadership. TAW has weathered many storms through the years and has seen countless hundreds of "clans" come and go, but TAW still stands today on its firm foundation of "TAW First". TAW has proven time and again it's expertise in organizational longevity compared to so many other "clans" that falter and die.

If you want to put your time and energy into a small, rinky-dink "clan" that will probably blow away like dust in a couple months, then TAW is NOT for you. However, if you are up to the challenge of taking part in a real online community of dedicated gamers that have bonded together with a common purpose of more organized, fun, and better gaming, all while kicking everyone else's "rear-end" on the field, then this is the place for you.

Why has TAW prevailed while so many have fallen by the way-side? One reason is that TAW leadership holds its members accountable for their actions based on our code of ethics set forth in our regulations. If you don't like our code of ethics/regulations, then TAW is not for you. But, if you are tired of un-organized play, supposed "leaders" who are dictators, and "teammates" who are only out for themselves, then join our ranks and see what a real team is.

Never been a part of an online team before? Don't waste your time going anywhere else, you will be disappointed eventually; TAW is for you.

Want to be a leader in a proven, time-tested & battlefield tested, successful team? Then TAW is for you.

Want to hang up your leadership hat from another "clan" and be "just a player" again in a highly organized and self-motivated successful team? Then TAW is for you.

We play and do the following:
Battlefield Division - BF2 and BF2142.
Call of Duty Division - COD4
Crysis Division - Crysis.
FarCry Division - FarCry.
Ghost Recon Division - Ghost Recon and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.
Information Technology Division - Information Technology stuff.
Joint Service Division - Military Personnel - all TAW games.
Media Development Division - Signatures, TAW radio (returning soon) and related things.
Raven Shield Division - Rainbow Six Vegas Raven Shield, Iron Wrath and Athena Sword.
Unreal Tournament Division - UT , UT2004 and UT3.
Vanguard Task Force Division - Red Orchestra, World in Conflict, Team Fortress 2, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, and America's Army
World of Warcraft Division - World of Warcraft.
Pirates of the Burning Sea Division - Pirates of the Burning Sea

All you need is:
1) To be able to attend mandatory training sessions
2) To have a microphone
3) To be 15 years of age or older
