Can't link GT

Hey all.

I recently changed my XBL gamertag to include my team tags and now for some reason I am unable to view my stats as when I login to the badcompany.ea website it still comes up with my previours gamertag.

I try linking my new gamertag and it sas it is already linked (but it is not)

Has anyone else had an issue like this and resolved it?

This happened to me too but I was never able to link my GT again.

i have changed my gamertag alot, it may take a week or 2 to recognise

Thats odd because it's been a good few weeks now and still nothing and when I try to "re link" it says it is already linked :S

you cant re-link so you will just have to wait, it sometimes can take a while.

if you want to see your stats still, type your name in on the leaderboards and then click on your name and it will take you to your stats

Try the info from this posting in the FAQ's thread. (BC FAQ's! (Unlocks, GamerTags, and More.))
There are two options that you need to check for receiving mail and ea partners. They need to be enabled.

Once you do that, try to link them again and/or see if you receive the confirmation letter with the link.

Do "add persona" on your Ea.com (same login as battlefield.com), and type your GT and it should work

Actually it works perfect and I was able to view my soldier straight away.....
It wasn't a waste of time afterall or usless information.

I just downloaded the FIFA 10 demo
when you enter the demo there is something called xbox live settings then go to EA account settings and you can see your email at the top with gray text and when this is done it should work your account is linked after u have changed your GT

Manually linking my name worked for me. I wonder how many users having this issue have a space in their gamertag...

originally used "http://badcompany.ea.com/myprofile/xbox/Team%20Pumba" but also tried "http://badcompany.ea.comm/myprofile/xbox/TeamPumba" and looking myself up in the leader boards list with success
