Personally I could care less about the chopper, tanks and jeeps, but I have a conflicting view on the arty. If I'm on Oasis attacking and our chopper can't get near the base because of the AA, or none of our tanks can make it past the 5 snipers in the river or on the ridge j-damming then I have to assume our arty guy doesn't know his role. I don't care if I get it or not in the beginning and I prefer to be on the ground advancing but if my team can't advance because he doesn't remove as many obstacles as possible then he has to go. Let it be known that I will give you a fair shot and if you're in my squad I'll call out those obstacles for the arty to notice but if you're using it just to get kills or you couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with it I'm gonna blast you off of it and usually put one of my guys in it that knows the drill.

I was once in a heavy on Oasis, driving to the attackers base. I was on the other side of the river, and the enemy chopper lands right next to me, and gives me it. ( Never even seen the guy before.) I send him a message once I'm in a safe spot and he say's ( I want my team to lose, you are probably a good pilot.) I then destroy the attackers, and left the guy who gave me the chopper (now in my tank.) alone.

To be fair, sometimes it's not out of malicious intent, like they're noobs and don't realize you're repairing. Because of the prevalence of noobs stealing the chopper, I have a personal rule where I take off immediately if my gunner gets out and isn't support.

I can't fly so I always gun and I never fly as gunner with someone I don't know, it stops me dieing needlessly and ensures my pilot knows that I'm not there to jack the heli. If I don't have any known pilots on my team I avoid the heli like the plague. I wish all the vehicles had a self-destruct button assigned to the original pilot/driver, then if anyone friendly or enemy jacked your ride, BOOM!

No self-destruction but ejection seat button instead. Id love to see the tank stealers fly out and land on their head. Mayby for BC2, hopefully

And then the guy actually thinks that the fact he hasn't done it in a long time (which I don't believe) matters.

And this goes for any vehicle, to be honest. My personal favorite vehicle is the AH64, as is alot of people. But if someone beats me to it, it's theirs and I'll back off. If they need a gunner, I'm one of the best to have. I'll heal if I have support and if I don't, I'll keep the chop warm while the pilot heals.

And then, guess what? I GIVE IT BACK TO THEM.

It's called being a team player. Not only to the people on your squad, but also the rest of the team. You think that just because you're in a clan, you're above those that aren't?

Just because you play everyday and you have skills doesn't make you better than everyone else. I can hold my own in the chop, but even if I was the worst pilot ever doesn't give you the right to steal my chop. Period.



What makes me most aggravated of all is I try my best to be the epitome of a team player and strive for such all the time. I may not be the best but I know what I'm doing. I can get along with anyone.

To answer the question of what happened, this particular game in question was at 1am. 8vs4. With the defenders 4 not even trying. And the 4 of the eight attackers goofing around, that was us. The 4 of us were on top of leaderboards every round winning each round so almost all of the other team had given up. The guy who stole the chopper was goofing around, and nothing serious. Ive had tanks stolen, choppers stolen, even boats stolen, and shrugged it off. If this guy is hurt from having a chopper stolen at 1am in a game that would never end, I wonder what would happen if someone accidently runs him over in a 12vs 12 serious game.

I feel his mom would be on here chewing us out. Dude, it happened, it was goofing around, get over and keep playing. U had 45-90 points that round, we were all in the 300s making the other team quit. So get over it, if u need a apology note, we can get u one, if u need to have the chopper join any of our games and we'll hand it over with no problems. Just please get over it.

actually it does matter if its a clan battle because everyone in the clans know their job and go to do it. if some random nooblet joins and gets in the way... well I'll explain what happened after the game and if he hates me still i don't really care.

generally if you have a clan in your team... you can tel because of the clan tags, for you noobs thats where you have multiple people with Tagged or similar names
for example all the hannahs use HannahMontnaXXXX replacing XXX with anything they like...
if you see clan names in your team = don't run for the heli your only gona start a TK war like it or not. Seriously if im alone and end up in a clan game i know better. call it right or wrong thats the facts of life in this game and i know going for the heli will result in clan members hating then TKing me then i get mad and TK them and so on.

if you don't like being dropped into clan battles and not being allowed to use anything don't complain to us, complain to dice for being to lazy to give us some other way then clearing out public rooms

In this case we werent tking or anything. Just goofing around. No one on defenders was trying to even spawn anymore,lol. So we were just messing around. Our clan mate meant no harm, not trying to hurt anyones feelings, he just thought it was funny. If we had known someones feelings would be hurt, we would not have done. We were just bored, thats all. I stole a tank from the defenders side, then c4 all their other tanks, and just for kicks started c4ing their ammo crate. thats the type of game this was.

If i see a better pilot then me and i have the chopper I'm gonna give it to them.... Yesterday i was in a game with Aloneninja and remembered that he's number 1 with apache so i landed gave it to him and gunned for him.... he is freaking amazing I couldn't believe the stuff he was doing.... But then he get's out at the second base takes the defenders chopper and i take off with the apache well later i get killed and the Apache had just spawned well I get in and he T bags the chopper making me blow up..... I hate people that steal my vehicles though and will tk them until i get kicked or they leave....

well I can only speak for myself but it really does lalalala me off when a team mate tks me while waiting for the chopper to spawn grrrrr or stealing it while Im healing it . my solution to the problem is to tk them for the rest of the game . i do realize this hurts my team and im sorry for that but the fact remains you killed me or stole my chopper so i have the right to rain hell on your .... for the rest of the game imo ....

This was a tking for the chopper. No one TKed anyone. So lets no go in that direction, please. He made it seem like someone did. But it was just goofing around and a chopper theft. No killing at all since there was no opponent.lol
