Default We Need More Servers Worldwide

I've noticed alot of people from all over the world have trouble with lag. This game has lag whether online or offline. For eg, when you knife a door, solo campaign or online, you have to wait a full second or 2 just for the door to break.

I dont think its going to be fixed unless we all speak up about it and start a petition or address it through numerous emails from thousands of us battlefieldiens to the people who can do something about it. Collectively they have made millions off the battlefield series and should invest a bit back in more servers or the series could end up on shelves everywhere just gathering dust. We need to get that point to them.

I've heard by reading other posts that the Dice Team sometimes read these Threads so hopefully they see this one.

Being my first post i thought someone could shed some light in this thread on what we can do, who to email, or just voice ourselves here.

If anyone knows anything, PLEASE speak up.

Thanks

I already regularily play with people from Asia - Japan etc...

As for China, I don't think that'll happen anytime soon. I'm reasonably sure consoles are actually banned in China...

hahaha, you can not be serious.

Every single 360 was made in China, so for them to ban it would be more than ironic.

Currently BFBC has

USA
74 East Coast servers
43 West Coast servers

Europe
46 Switzerland servers

Japan
9 servers

I think more servers in europe are needed.

Currently if each server only runs 1 game that allows 4128 players to play BFBC

I'm sure of it. Read it somewhere on Kotaku, and backed up by what I found on the BBC.

Australia deserves at least 2 servers and europe should get more

europes population 732,000,000 servers 46 ratio 1 per 16,000,000 people
north america population 337,000,000 servers 117 ratio 1 per 3,000,000 people
asias population 4,054,000,000 servers 9 ratio 1 per 450,000,000 people
australia population 21,000,000 servers 0 ratio *&%$ you

Ea's masterplan is to get 2 outboard motors put them in brisbane and move australia to the mid atlantic if you thought there was climate change well there ain't its ea moving the continents closer to north america

so whens this big boat trip taking place. lalalala. i might drop a line in to fish along the way. will we be bypassing asia as i dont want to share a server with 450 million people.

i think this boat trip has a bigger chance of happening than ea putting server's down under.

i asked before if any one has there phone number.

ill settle for an address. lol

with all these updates they claim to have done, i still see no difference in gameplay or havent heard the announcement of more servers.

I´m really shocked, cause the game performance let me doubt that there are any servers in europe. i always thought that horrible lag was caused by underpowerd servers somewhere in the US and the long way my signal needs to travel. to know that there are BFBC servers in my "neighbourhood" makes the game performance even worse, cause the way from south Germany to Switzerland is nothing on the WWW. I suffer lag from average 1sec. which means the server performance is much more crapy then i thought, couse my ping should be faster on this short distance as it should be if it got to travel half the globe. i guess the european servers are some old sortet out cold war russian servers

Nah, Studio is a bit hung up on his own ideas. Just let it be.

like i said when i first started this thread. this game has horrible lag even when playing single player. what difference is your ping gonna make if this game lags even offline. this has to be addressed in the next battlefield games other wise like Studio have said among others, this game WILL die out and they will end up in the bargain bins.

your lucky that you have servers in europe. in australia we have NONE. i WISH we only had 1 second lag. in oz, its more like 3 or 4 seconds
