Default Keyboard and Mouse ???

I searched the threads and could not find one that mentioned the implementation of the use of a keyboard and mouse with this game. I see a ton of threads flaming all over the net on it so figured I would post an inquiry on the master forums for this game.

I was a bit upset this title was not released on the PC as many are but figured I would give it a crack on the PS3. I have used my keyboard and mouse on other shooters on the PC but was astonished to see no segment for it in this game.

Not only did the company not release it to the PC, they did not integrate the use of the Keyboard and Mouse in the console release.

I know a lot of people will flame on using the controller. To any defense I could surmount for that I would like to point out that I am primarily a PC gamer and have built a comfortable dexterity with these devices. The controllers for consoles feel clunky and difficult to me, simply because I have not used them for 15 years like many of you console extremists.

I am just curious will this be patched in at some point?

Is there another scheduled PC release for a BF title with some DX10 and high def love built in?

Thanks for any help in advance...

Jay.

Thats funny to me cuz Im the exact opposite. I use a keyboard/mouse all day at work, and couldnt play pacman or tetris with it if I tried. I cant do the whole gaming on kb/mouse thing. I hear more folks say what you are. Obviously its what we've become used to. If I ever do pc gaming I will be looking for the usb console controller you can attach.
-Once you play with the controller I bet you will get used to it and be good with both.

LOL I hear ya,

I am getting better with the controller but just dont seem to be coordinated enough to swap weps and stuff fast enough. I also find it tricky when trying to make very small adjustments when sniping, I had a guy today that didn't move for probably 15 seconds but I was either too far to the left or right and kept moving over him LOL, with my Logitech Gaming mouse he would have fallen over in a second hahaha.

Its probably cuz your trying to aim with just your thumb rather then your whole hand. Takes way more cordination I assume. If they do come out with kb/mouse support I would be bummed out, (sorry) cuz at least now I know that the other guy likely has the same machine/controller as me. That way I can only blame all my deaths on lag ,rather than making up an excuse this guy must have a 24000dpi laser mouse and keyboard programed to knife me instantly within a 5yd range of him.

Yeah, I'm a keyboard and mouse man all the way, and I have a very hard time doing fine adjustments with the sticks. There is a kb & m-like peripheral for the ps3 from SplitFish Gameware. I'm going to try out the FPSFreek from KontrolFreek Gaming Accessories. The problem I have is getting the stick out of the dead zone. I apply too much force and end up overshooting my mark. These ought to give me more leverage when moving the sticks and thus make fine aiming easier, or so I hope.

I know joystick is not good for BFBC. Cus thats the first the feeling when I play shoot with joystick, it is lalalala, hard to shoot moving target. I used to be a BF2 player on computer before I have PS3. Now I can use joystick well, try to practice with joystick in single player mode, man!
