if you have made those updates over the week, this is my Performance reporting post about yesterday (September - 4 - 2008 ) :

Country you’re located: Italy,Europe

ISP and connection type (if known) your Console uses to connect to the internet
: adsl Telecom 7mb download / 380 kb upload . Modem Ethernet

Console Played on (PS3 or Xbox 360): PS3

Rate the Performance from 1-6 (1 being unplayable and 6 being flawless): 2 (from 5 pm to 11 pm); 5 ( from 11pm to 03 am)

Gamemode(s) played and if ranked, unranked, or both: Conquest & Gold rush RANKED only

Time and date you started playing and time you ended: from 5pm to 3 am

--Below information is optional--

Additional notes that apply to the above reported information:

I play all day and it s always the same. When servers are stressed for a big ammount of peoples playing BFBC ( 4 om 11 pm,weekends are the worst days) ..it s unplayable, even if i try to change rooms/matches ..i have only found two rooms out of 10 without BIG lag issues. For what i have seen, a positive note..no more screen freezes BUT there is a lot of bullet lag & moon walking.

I ll try to play for the next days and i ll report infos.

I'd like to thanks EA/DICE to doing this kind Thread. You guys at last are using your brain and you are LISTENING BFBC fans.

They are asking for your feedback starting from today after they made the fixes. Why is everyone posting their past experience when they knew there were issues? Follow the instructions guys or your post might be deleted as it doesn't help them one bit to explain what they already know!

Wow Splash..

can you connect your brain to your hand/fingers? EA/DICE are LISTEN us,with this kind of threads..They are asking US to tell them if we found LAGGY this game after their update.

ALso they said to MAKE a post with some RULES on this Thread..

Respect those men, if you don't ..at last GIVE some respect to the BFBC community and you don't make posts here..open your damn TOPIC and write all your complain in it.It s simple...two weeks ago i have done the same..BUT now EA/DICE are trying to speack with us..WE (all BFBC gamers) just need to act like matures and give them all answers..

Would you be mad if you had bought a car and then found it wasn't running right to be told by the guy who sold you it that the workshops were at the back of the showroom and that there is a toolbox for you to use? you damn right you wouldn't be, and this is the bloody same.

Pushing the feedback onto the paying playing public is just another way of doing things on the cheap, they should have a full time squad of testers 24-7 eradicating the problem and not leaving it up to the likes of us.

You get better m8 you are now comparing a car to a console game, there is always one

Buying a car in my case cost me 14,995 and buying a game @ £40.00 i think you take a little more care in buying a car over a game.

What a great start to my day

I tell you what you get some right smart a**** on the internet don't ya, i mean come on ive asked a quick question about a problem for a game and all i get is a reply by one of EA's fanboy police. Lets be honest you seem to argue with people on here quite often, is it because you want an admin job or something? I can imagine what type of person you would be like at work as well, a right bum chomper.

Ill put this down to someone who still quite immature for his age, cheers.

LOL so easy to wind and wind, i have my own job/business so no i do not need to work for EA that is that one sorted.

And you quote me where i have argued with forum members? i will give you some lessons in forum chat.

Discussing something about a topic is not arguing it is where one or more have their own opinions about it.

I think i will leave it there now as we are messing this thread up.

ISP and connection type (if known) your Console uses to connect to the internet:
BE, ADSL, 20mbit, Wired to router, in a DMZ, uPNP off

Console Played on (PS3 or Xbox 360):
PS3

Rate the Performance from 1-6 (1 being unplayable and 6 being flawless):
3

Gamemode(s) played and if ranked, unranked, or both:
Ranked, Gold rush and Conquest

Time and date you started playing and time you ended:
7th September 1pm - 9pm with some breaks

--Below information is optional--

Maps you played:
Acension, cant remember the rest. But most of them.

Additional notes that apply to the above reported information:
Huge amount of lag in the first server, rejoined another and no lag.
Towards the end, lots of people left the other team and lots replaced them, this caused lots of freezing in the game, lasted for around 20-30 seconds before play continued. It did this around 10 times, before it settled down.

Gamemode(s) played and if ranked, unranked, or both: ranked conquest

Time and date you started playing and time you ended: 8th sept. |

Maps you played:
End of line (CQ), Oasis(GR)

Additional notes that apply to the above reported information:

END OF LINE- I think end of the line lags because everyone (well alot) of people want helicopters, and end of the line is the only map that lags so bad you cannot play it. I think this is due to everyone in the end of the line servers, i really do...
ANyways, the lag is so bad its like your falling through the floor and walking through buildings.. its a game spoiler.I notice players connecting and disconnecting, each time voice goes off n on and more lag arrives.. or freezing...
I played thi smap for about 4 minutes, tried many others all the same.. there just the same..

OASIS - Another map with helis?? coincidence they lag? hmm.. just been playing and it was lagging on gold rush, but it was accepatable really, odd little bit is not so bad, just when people leave or join games there is an issue of "lag spikes".
I played this map for about 40 minutes.

What is going on today? No one game in all different modes (ranked) and maps I played today was ok. Every single lagged more or less and some would just freeze for several seconds.

My set up is average:

UK, virgin media, ps3

On the rate 1-6 it would be 3.
