I cannot connect. "Failed to connect to the ea server"
I have had this game since it came out...I have routinely run it on two to three Xbox 360s at my house with good performance. Now, all of the sudden, I cannot connect on one of the xbox's while the other works fine.

What gives??

Additional notes that apply to the above reported information: I usually experience some difficulty while playing (freezing, lag, out of body experiences) but this last time I played was horrible. I kept playing hoping it would get better but it would not. I checked my internet connection many times to make sure this was not the problem.

My internet connection is great, other online games working, not yours again... here is my info, please fix this ongoing issue.

Time and date you started playing and time you ended: 11:05pm MST - 11:25pm MST (and ongoing) attempting to connect to the EA online servers completely un-successfully. During this time I tested my connection and have a 10MB download speed and a 2.9 MB upload speed. Also, my Halo 3 online works fine. And to completely seal the deal you have a problem, I can see on xbox live that my friend is playing the game, and I attempt to connec to his game in progress and get the same error message, "Failed to connect to EA Online". This issue has been happening a LOT lately and it is getting very very frustrating, so much I am about to buy call of duty 4 or some other companies online shooter.

Maps you played: NONE - couldn't connect, I was playing earlier today around 5:00 PM MST - 6:15PM MST or pretty close to that with no issues, then I try to play again around 11:00 PM MST again, and I can't connect even though my friends are online in a game playing.

Haven't been able to connect EA Servers for the last 3 days! Slowly I'm getting angry. What's going on here? Solve this problem as fast as you can.

PS: I'm located in Germany and have the Xbox 360 version. ISP is T-Online, DSL 16k. Every other XBL Game/Function/etc. works perfect.

worked perfect since 3 months and suddenly no connection any more. no changes at isp's side and no change of any router-rules. so, why ?????

Battlefield badcompany is a great game but there are so many things that could have made it an amazing game. Simple things like being able to lie down, being able to create a class. There should also be another aspect of the game, like a split screen mode. Adding new things every once in a while keeps things exciting, whether its a new weapon or a new map. These things would make the game alot better.

Last week lag was present too but still somewhat playable.

Join Date: Dec 2008 Posts: 1	Could not connect ot EA Servers yesterday night Country you’re located: Melbourne, Australia, - ADSL2+ Console Played on (PS3 or Xbox 360): PS3 Rate the Performance from 1-6 (1 being unplayable and 6 being flawless): 1 Could not connect to EA servers at all, but had full connection to internet.
