Well, we knw that we're getting Par for the course and Acta non Verba as two of the four new maps, sooo....I speculate that its an announcement concerning the other two.
I would hope its an announcement for the magic patch who's coming was foretold in the beginning of Bad Company mythology.

LOL, that was a good one.

I'm guessing feedback to issues we are all aware of.

And hey, I wasn't even trying to be funny man - it's true!! =]

I guess it's good that we can still laugh about it, but perhaps not for the right
reasons either.

DICE AND EA: I CHANNEL MY ENERGY INTO YOUR BRAINS TO ASSIST IN
THE ARDUOUS TASK OF FIXING OUR GAME.

P.S WRAP YOUR HEADS IN TINFOIL, THAT WILL AMPLIFY MY POWER.

NOW GO! FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT!

How about the big news being rather than waisting your time making new maps etc, we are concentrating on fixing all the stupid glitches that is driving people away in hords from this game. I have given up playing untill its fixed

I'm not sure how many times it needs to be said, but MAKING MAPS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PROGRAMMING! They can easily make maps and fix valid issues at the same time, some call it magic, others call it managment of resources! I'll let you pick what it is called, but know one does not stop the other from being done or vice versa!

yes LEX But..why the HeLL they always says NEWS about map packs and not about patches ?

BFBC fans WANT some fixes..and we want someone who tell us what fixes will be in the next patch..cause if you dont fix 90% of problems and add PRIVATE UNRANKED ROOMS or a CLAN SUPPORT ..peoples are gonna leave this game .

I totally understand about managing resourses but the prioity should be 1) FIX BUGS!! 2) DLC, All we are hearing is choose where you want the new maps based and not we have a fix for at least one of the bugs.

He said they are wasting their time making maps! Read what I quoted before you comment on what I said. Also, not adding clan support is not a problem, it was a design choice. Was it a bad choice, I think so, but its not a problem of the game. I'll explain it like this, since I don't play in a clan I could care less if it was added which is no problem for me, but you do care if it is there making it a problem for YOU, not the game. Now don't think I'm against you and for DICE, I just think in terms of facts and not my personal wants. I also agree DICE needs to communicate a little more than they do, maybe it will change, maybe it won't, but I hope it does.

yeah communication is the key..if you do well..if you listen FANS..gamers will love you. if not..after maked a game like this..with all those issues (not a lot but some major ones) and without unraked rooms or a clansupport (yes its my problem but if you ask how many gamers want private rooms or clan support on a game,80% will said YES do it.)..gamers will not buy another BF game if DICE will make it..

They have chances for fix ALL..they have time to that..cause i know it s take time..BUT they need to write info on FORUM.

its new maps being added! 4 in total! you (the customer) votes for 1 map out of 5 choices and the 2 with the most community votes will go into the patch also another 2 that EA have chosen!...dont think it's gona include any communication updates or anything like that!

but i might be proven wrong!.....cant see it though! lol

The biggest problem by buddies have is dog tag lag which was temp repaired pre conquest update and since the update i haven't been able to stab anyone without major stuttering/lag, The damage modelling is well off With COD4 when your cross-hair is on the person and you pull the trigger you hit them, with BFBC its totally hit a miss even when you take a knee zoomed, The guns are unbalanced and no continuity. When you are being shot the damage direction marker isn't accurate you can be getting shot in the back and it will show you being shot in front.

For the record i love this game there are many great points about it but i have played it since release and all these little niggles and lack of info forthcoming have made me call it a day for now. Once its fix i would love to play but for now i'm done.

They have said in here that they made some changes to the servers and want us to input on our experiences, as a active member here I hope you partisipate as I think your info would be very helpful to them.

For other things I believe I remember you wanting I ask you to read this as it might be helpful. Since I came from PC I investigate the systems I wanted and it the limitations of console. I really wanted to have a realistic idea of what is or isn't possible to do after a game was released since as a PC gamer I was spoiled by sometimes huge patches. Here are some facts I found that I bet most don't know; All XBox 360s must be able to be patched including the Core System. This is stored in the 360s system memory which can hold only 5 Updates at one time. Even if you have the Elite or a 360 with a HDD you are restricted to these limits. These updates can be no bigger than 4MB and stored as cache which means when you load in that sixth game in your rotation that has an update it will bump out the oldest update in your cache and when you load the bumped game its update will be needed to get again and bump the current oldest update in your cache. That means DICE is working under those requirements and restrictions making Clan support very unlikely, especially since they said they'd look into it and not that they'll add it.

This is one of the many reason why I bought my PS3 over the Xbox 360. I think both are fantastic machines, but the Xbox has way more limitations in means of updates and download content than the PS3 at this stage and the least painful of systems for a PC gamer to move to IMO.

You learn stuff everyday i oftern wondered why i would have to relaod updates when i had been playing vairous games, thanks for the info. This clan stuff people are on about doesn't fuss me at all. All i would like is to play the game without silly faults. I also understand there will never be a 100% glitch/bug free game but what i don't understand is a game which has many testers and a pre release beta can have faults which are so obvious i.e. damage modelling.

as much as i'd like these new maps, it's gonna be a bit late.

I need to trade BFBC in because of FIFA coming out. frankly, I don't play BFBC any more so keeping it would be silly. Unfortunately it's come just too late to keep me playing.
