Default I cannot add any more friends

Alright, here is my problem

I cannot add any more ppl to my friend list

If I add one more person then multiplayer component will stop working

There will be eternal "connection to ea server was lost"

So I would like to apologies to ppl who were deleted from my friend list

I am really sorry fellas

It's a common problem. EA even advises people to delete their friends list if they suffer connection problems/lag when attempting to game online.

We are talking about PS3

You have Xbox360

My problem has nothing to do with yours
Unless you want to start a fanboy topic

I have the 360, but the same issue is found on both consoles (and PS2 if you were using Modern Combat).

EA recommends reducing or removing your friends list as a method to solve issues. They said when we all suffered with Modern Combat that the reason there were problems was your console was constantly checking in the backgroud for friends joining/leaving and if you selected them as a prefered player, was trying to tell the servers that you 'preferred' to game with them. This apparently causes issues between your connection and the server.

Now I know some say b*ll*cks to the above, but I had it with the PS2; and again with the 360. I had around 30 people on the PS2; and 14 on the 360. I removed the lot on the PS2, no more issues. I dropped down to 5 on the 360, no more problems. So, you have to ask yourself this, why and how does this only affect BF/EA games?? I never had this issue with any other online game, just the BF console series; and there's a few people said the same. Not to mention, it's what support were advising people to do!!

D.
