Default Ideas for the next Battlefield game so please read EA

Just thought it would be good to start a discussion about what we'd like to see in the next game, I'm not talking about simple stuff like team chat and all things that are missing from this game, I mean stuff like advanced weather systems for example playing a gold rush (or whatever mode they decide to bring out) and theres a sniper sat on a hill, all of a sudden his scope gets a few spots of rain on it and of the course of a few minutes the rain gets heavier and you've got a full scale downpour complete with puddles forming in the craters that the big guns made, or a level where it has snow covered fields and your running along to find some footprints leading off into the edge of the map so you follow them and come across an enemy sniper (or your own and you've just given away his position to the enemy). thats the kind of stuff I think would look quite cool in the next game.

THIS IS NOT A NEGATIVE TREAD SO PLEASE PEOPLE DON'T TURN IT INTO ONE BY SLAGGING OFF OTHER PEOPLES IDEAS, IF YOU DON'T AGREE WITH OTHER PEOPLE EITHER SAY YOU DON'T THINK THAT WILL WORK BECAUSE.... OR IF YOU CAN'T DO THAT THEN DON.T POST

Do you actually think anyone remotely important from Dice or EA reads these forums? It's obvious that they don't give a crap about their community.
Wait until the free uber-casual BF game comes out for PC and they you will see the entire BF community collectively roll their eyes and quit the series for good.

Great idea, it'll never catch on.

I agree with your points.

Bring back the parachute!

How about weather that affects the enviroment? - Fire will be damaging, but rain will put it out and wind will spread the fire.

fire in fields etc nice idea but problem is every round someone would fire on every field in game at start just to do it.

persoanly keep parachute as it is, its nice not having turkeys bail on you while your the gunner, or if they do at least you know they will die to.

i think i heard the timer for bigwyrms afternoon feed.

No I don't but I'd love to see your face if in the next game they bring out they have advanced weather that comes and goes complete with puddles and snow!

Thats a good one a tank catches fire near a few trees next thing you know the trees are catching fire + fire damage to players would be cool

So what if they don't Mr Glass is half empty, EA do read some hence the replies you get, fair enough there not very often but it my still be read and it may be taken in now are you going to add something constructive? If not please don't add anything else because there's just no point posting if all you want to do is put people down

1. Put prone back in Battlefield

2. EA Games: Stop developing shooter titles and stick with your sports games.

EA is the publisher not the developer.

Also, the prevalence of sniping is already bad enough. I don't want to think about what it would be like if people could go prone.

footprints is like bullet damage it can only stay on screen for so long due to drain on system and tracking of them, so 24 people running around in snow would generate alot footprints, but its nice idea. the weather would be good one, start dry maybe rain maybe snow then clear up say. but again it would depend on length of round. start in daylight or dark then move into dark or morning would be intresting.

I'd put on some sort of Snow weather to mess with all the wannabe snipers.

Yes but you arn't developing games for Big Wyrm himself. Thats what hes frustrated about.

Any-who

- smoke nades' needed (possibly for conquest only?)
- i think prone is needed
- no voting system for next map, as this was ridiculous in BF2MC as everyone only voted for one map (you know the one )

yer smoke for assault be good, think prone is like parachute better being kept out, it does reduce snipernoobs same way no parachute takes away the bailers.

All they would do is have white ghillie suits which might make them harder to spot.
