i freakin love BFBC! the only issue i have is with the lack of map filters. i only play the urban maps and there is no map vote or map filter option (besides rush or conquest). this is extremely frustrating when playing with my friends and we are constantly leaving maps (only after they load) and rejoining in the hopes we get an urban one. please please please add some kind of filter option to BFBC2. that is all i ask!

yeaaa, I like getting knifed by guy's 10 feet away, or better yet i'm behind him and he just swings and kills me somehow... Is this the new patch you guy's made? Like half a meg/sec isn't horrible internet...

IMO 'par for the course' is one of the most boring maps! the best most full on action packed maps for conquest are ascension, acta non verba, Oasis, ghost town and harvest day...the only maps i thoroughly enjoy! I've been playing BFBC since about a month after the release and I'm done playing it for good. It's still amazingly fun to play... when I actually get to play it. I haven't played a full game since the recent update. The game is continually freezing and being a major PITA. It's not my Xbox, every single other game I have plays flawlessly.
It was fun, so long, and fare well. |

This is an issue i've had for quite a while but been pretty quiet about it as without Xbox LIVE i havent been on the game much - however i thoroughly enjoyed it over XTIVAL with my mates and will continue to enjoy it shortly with my new membership upgrade.
I remember an old game that had non-stacking difficulty acheevs. It got slated and slated and they released a simple patch that when i started up the game the very next time (after the patch) my acheev for 'easy' unlocked because i had the one for hard. This game STILL doesnt have a patch for this. I have the Hard one for the last level, but not the Normal one - i really dont want to have to go through the game again on Normal. Is there nothing similar to the other game that can be done here? It kind of kills my mood everytime i notice it, because it feel like more of a quality thing than anything else. Sorry for the quick rant, but i couldnt sit in silence for much longer.

Why did you guys make the online mode so hard to set up? It took me a year to figure out what ports and what stuff to disable on my router. And all my other online games I could play right when I got the game no messing with my router or anything.

bad company is so far from what the battlefield series is. i mean im in an apache and 5 missles still, are unable to kill a tank. i mean to shoot someone 3 times with a sniper rifle and they still live is crazy. i love, love, love battlefield 2 modern combat for 360. i dont know what happened this game but i hope part to is a little more realistic

The amount of glitches that EA has elected to ignore is astounding. How does this company keep selling these sub-par products with little to no support? The artillery glitch still exists, the skill ranking system is basically unreliable and backwards the majority of the time, C4 still shows up on a moving vehicle when it is infact right in front of you, the team killers still come right back to the game after being booted (ban their tags from the server), enemies hiding in rocks on Ascension, ranking up by team killing.... There are more, but these are the most prevalent.
Now, they are already shoving 1943 and BFBC 2 down our throats? How do you expect anyone other than kids who don't understand the value of game quality and support to continue purchasing your titles? I won't buy buying the next BFBC just like I didn't buy Halo 3 due to lack of game support and a rushed debut. You need to take some gameplay design cues from the BF2:Modern Combat developers. |

I have a question and a suggestion.
First the question, how do you patch Bad Company? Suggestion, in Un-ranked I have my friends over and we have a blast, we get bored and kill our teammates for fun. But I think the - for killing teammates is a little bit too much. |

What I do not understand is how a next gen console game, produced by DICE through EA, running on EA servers is still suffering from freezing in helicopters.
If someone told me 2 years ago that DICE would make a new Battlefield game like this one, and that this issue would come up, I would have bet money that the issue would have been addressed as a priority... yet all indications taken from company actions since the issue was identified as an issue points to the opposite. I understand that a sequel is incoming... I also understand that resources are being commited to 1943, but is that it? It is broken and you -can not- fix, or -do not see a point- in fixing it? Good thing I was not given the opportunity to wager money on this subject... I would have obviously lost... though I feel like I am loosing every time I have to reset my Playstation... and I guess I -did- loose money on it, by buying it... both for the PS3 and the 360... Was playing online with our Mod Zonal and was seriously enjoying it. I never bothered with single player just put in the disk for the first time and jumped straight into online. Gold Rush was all I was playing but it was addictive and very enjoyable. Shame I was on the oppisite team to Zonal and I ended up his main target.

I think Bad Company is an amazing game altogether, but I have two gripes which I'd really like to see DICE fix or change.
1. My number one issue is that some of the awards are just plain impossible to obtain under normal, full-server circumstances. Namely: Saviour Trophies, Saviour Patches, Saviour Wildcard and Full Deck. I propose that saviour trophies be awarded for obtaining just two saviour kills in a round (and not 3). Most games I have played I only ever get 1 or 2 saviour kills, meaning that I have only ever acquired 3 saviour trophies, despite playing over 1000 rounds and almost 240 hours worth. This simple change would make saviour trophies and indeed the patches and wildcard far easier (but not too easy) to obtain. In order to make the full-deck achievement more obtainable I propose that the attackers are given a greater boost in tickets for every base they completely destroy. Right now I think you only get a quarter of the bar back when killing a base and I don't think this is enough of a reward for doing so. 2. My second major issue is that of the spotting system in Bad Company. First of all, how does it work? Because I used to think it was only whenever I got shot or someone held a crosshair of some description over me. But I've been sitting totally minding my own business in a bush many a time and had someone find me easily (presumably I am lit up like a Christmas tree by the red dot system). I think the red dot spotting system (or what I like to call red dot syndrome) detracts from the skill of the online multiplayer. I think when someone is spotted they should only show up as a red dot on the radar, because far too often have I been lit up like a Christmas tree with a persistant red dot that I simply cannot shake no matter how long I seek cover for. It just seems ridiculous that a red dot comes up in the middle of the screen to 100% guide the enemy to a free kill. There is absolutely no reason to use the radar in bad company because everything comes up on the screen anyway. To summarise: please remove the on-screen red dot spotting system!!

BF BD is the best game I've ever played, and that's saying something coz I've been a games fan since before pac man!
Spawn killing can be very annoying but I do believe every part of the map should be part of the battlefield. So I suggest simply putting a sensor mast in the middle of the active attacking base (gold rush). Say to about the range of about 10 feet beyond the perimeter. When the attacking base moves onto the next base the mast should be turned off when the new bases mast activates. This is because the option of flanking should not be impinged too much as it is an important tactic. The mast would work the same way the sensor granade (recon kit) except it is stationary and "transmits" for as long as the base is held. Obviously, there would be no mast at the defending bases. I havn't seen this solution to spawn killing in any forums yet but it seems the best way to solve the "problem". It shows any potential spawn killers on the map for all to see without the need for any 3 second delays or complex systems whilst still keeps the game-play fluid. I have no idea how easy this would be to implement in terms of code, but it doesn't seem to difficult to adapt the sensor that already exists. Maybe it could be used in BF BC2? |

i had a few problems linking id's and i saw a link to bfbc support so i clicked on it and sent a pm to ISSY asking for a bit of help.couple of hours later everything was sorted.i still cant believe how fast it was all sorted.......best customer support ive EVER experienced.

I cant hear anything in either game mode on PS3. Everything starts properly, opening sounds and all, but when the game mode begins...its silent. I actually went ahead and picked up another copy from game stop to no avail. Every other one of my games works and sounds perfect. This is driving me nuts. Any suggestions? I have a normal multi Av hook up...It worked fine for like 3 months,. Now...nothing!!!!

For BC2:
- Give attackers more respawns.. in 60-70% of the matches, defenders won - PLEASE forget conquest, gold rush was better. It's more focused, focus is the key in achieving a fun game mode - Add armored vehicles with greater variety in weaponry (one with faster automatic / AA-main gun, also amphibious tank) - Forget the mid-eastern setting, it's getting really old (Yeah, I know that US is in Iraq but everyone in Europe hates US, a bit less now when Obama runs things though) - Don't make it too easy to bring a building 100% down. Won't be fun if the whole map is flat after 5 minutes - More gold rush maps.. 8 simply isn't enough! - Make guns more lethal, and reduce the clip size to match real life. This is what keeps CoD4 community away from BF-series. With a bit more lethal guns, you could reach both audiences! - Autokick team killers after 3 consequent or 5 overall TK's. I love playing unranked in BC1 because my team fights for the objective, not personal stats.
