The problem with snipe camping is that if your team needs to respawn and the sniper is way off the map somewhere, then the only option is to go back to base. There should be a way to turn off spawn on squad options for snipers...

or they could easily improve the squad / spawn feature, im no coder but im sure the codes half there already - DICE are the master of patches! lets wait n see :P

I check my stats on the EA battlefield website uk and the insignia for my rank on the site is different to the insignia on the xbox live leaderboard. is this a problem or is it supposed to be like this ?

would LOVE to see private rooms, clan support and lobbies, team chat I'm not really worried about, its a squad based game, as well as the screen shot function up and working, but one step at a time I guess? and the next step seems to be conquest

i like this game, i really do i think it is great.

i think taking prone out of the game was a great idea but the lack of maps is what upsetts me and just the one style of game. come on conquest

You should inclueded avoid to been killed at the base and splalalalaillers and the enemy use the artillery against us, and TK been forgive and punished by the player , is very AMATEUR from DICE TEAM allowed this kind of things happen , we are at next gen games. WORK HARDER or Cut SOME HEADS , my money and the money of all players is your payrole!!!!!!

i see your point, OggieT
But then again i see his. I'd've liked to have known if the game was tried out with a spawn protection time, and to see how it worked out, because i think a 3 second timer would have made the game slightly easier and less annoying to play.. BUT then again, if you spawned with squad in some situations the 3 second spawn protection could give you a rather unfair advantage - and even in the situations where it is a bit "fairer" to have the protector [spawn killing] the killers would just wait the 3 seconds if they knew it was there, surely? so.. spawn protector seems to be a pointless exercise here.

Ignore this post i just counter argued my own point.

mate , i dont mind peeps saying what they feel but i feel we have to give EA/DICE a chance to release a patch IMO. after the patch if things are still not solved then its time to complain

Default Guns totally unbalanced

Just wondering if at any point there is going to be anything done about the guns being so unbalanced and inconsistant ie: silenced uzi vs mg36(scoped)* at a medium range say 100ft outcome in the game uzi wins every time likely real life outcome guy with uzi sprays bullet every where maybe getlalalala mg36* fills him full of holes. Also the shotguns have far too much damage at medium/long range.Basically im saying smg's and shotguns are over powered in comparison to the lmg's and assault rifles imo.

Agreed. I was on the ground yesterday, plugging a guy on top of a two-storey building with an LMG, which didn't seem to be having any effect on him. Then he kills me with one hit from a shotgun.

Not gonna happen! I don't care if it is 'only a game', that's completely unrealistic.

hey i have played the demo and i loved it so much that i bougth the gold edition very nice cover :P
the game is so cool with all the explosions and gunfire very nice.
also love the single player story, very funny end of the game :P

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but whenever I try and join someone elses game from my Friends list it totally freezes my Elite, hard lock.

And i'm one of the lucky ones with a freeze free newish Elite until now.

Now i can see why you guys are up in arms because of the mic problems! I bought a Sony mic and have used it about 3 times, no one talks to me and i can't hear anything (yes its turned on).

How about spawn protection with protection removal upon attacking.

You are protected when you spawn for 3 seconds, unless you attack (fire bullet, lob grenade, etc. etc.) and the protection is lifted.

I cant believe that nobody has mentioned the obvious one

Can you PLEASE make it so that pressing the joypad controller key ONCE makes you sprint until you run out of breath (same as COD4)

Its a nightmare keeping spring depressed all the time. also its going to break my PS3 controller very quickly!

It also needs a team deathmatch type game for all those people who for some reason doesn't get the idea of an objective based game. its not about K/D ratio its about attacking and DEFENDING! lost count of the amount of times ive been left to protect and defuse 2 bombs while my "team mate" run off to go kill people in the other corner of the map!

Higher damage on the grenade launcher vs infantry would be awesome. Or atleast lower the kill count needed for the grenade launcher Efficiency trophy. I'm having a VERY hard time even getting close to getting that trophy. It's a ***** to get.

But I actually think I got 6 kills last round... But I beleive the award system messed up and didn't give me the award anyway. Happened befor with the Objective Attack Trophy.

think took 7 kills to get mine i remember couting and was like *** wheres trophy then got 1 more and got it. i did it on over and out map whilst attacking. run down left of map enter house with cr8, shoot any1 in there with grenade launcher, arm the cr8, go into the roof get a few more kills with GL as they try and defuse. then go into the other 3 floor building and again instead of knifing ppl just use GL then i just shot few grendaes out of window and got rest for trophy.
