How do I view another Soldiers profile?

1. Login at the official web site (link)
2. In the address bar, type the following;
a) To view an Xbox 360 profile:
http://badcompany.ea.com/myprofile/xbox/PLAYERNAME/
b) To view a PlayStation 3 profile:
http://badcompany.ea.com/myprofile/ps3/PLAYERNAME/

Simply replace PLAYERNAME with the name of the profile you wish to view.
If a player has a space in their name, replace the space with %20 i.e.
http://badcompany.ea.com/myprofile/xbox/PLAYER%20NAME/

What is the difference between the 'Standard Edition' (regular version) and the 'Gold Edition' (collectors version)?

The 'Gold Edition' of Battlefield Bad Company is packaged in a gold, metallic case and includes:

• 5 in-game weapons for rank 25, immediately unlocked (for use during online play only) - these are not the 'Find All Five' weapons!
• Exclusive behind the scenes documentary.
• 8 multiplayer strategy videos.
• "Bad Company/Smiling Hand Grenade" poster.

What are the 'Find All Five' Exclusive Weapons and how do I unlock them?

There are five exclusive weapons (one for each class) which can be unlocked for both versions of the game.
Here you can see all the weapons to unlock, and how to get them, so get out there and build up your arsenal!

1. Recon - QBU-88 Sniper Rifle - Pre-order the game from a participating retailer.*
   You will be sent an email with an Unlock Code.¤
2. Support - M60 LMG - Sign up for the Battlefield newsletter.*
   You will be sent an email with an Unlock Code.¤
3. Specialist - Silenced Uzi SMG - Play the demo and reach rank 4 in the multiplayer game mode.
   The gun will then be automatically be unlocked in the full game.
4. Assault - F2000 Assault Rifle - Become a Veteran by registering your other Battlefield games.*
   The gun will then be automatically be unlocked in the full game.
5. Demolition - USAS-12 Semi-automatic Shotgun - Check your player stats online.*
   The gun will then be automatically be unlocked in the full game.

¤ Enter the Unlock Code from the Main Menu > Multiplayer > Unlocks > Redeem Code screen to unlock the weapon.
Please allow 24-48 hours for your email to come through (and be sure to check your Spam/Junk folder)!
If you do not receive an email, please contact the Support Centre.

Your Gamertag/PSN ID and EA Account should be correctly linked when you first access an EA game online. However, incase you are experiencing difficulties, here is an alternative method to link your Gamertag/PSN ID with your EA Account.

How to link your Xbox360 Gamertag to your EA account

1. Go to EA.com and log in with your main EA account details.
2. Click on the "Add Persona" found under "Select A Default Persona"
3. Select the “existing Xbox LIVE Gamertag” radio button and enter the Xbox360 Gamertag name that you wish to link to your EA account.
4. Select "Add Persona"
5. This should generate an e-mail to your registered e-mail address.
6. Follow the link contained within the e-mail. Once that is done, your Xbox360 Gamertag will be successfully linked with this account.

How to link your PlayStation 3 Username to your EA account

1. Go to EA.com and log in with your main EA account details.
2. Click on the "Add Persona" found under "Select A Default Persona"
3. Select the “existing PLAYSTATION Network Online ID” radio button and enter the PS3 User name that you wish to link to your EA account.
4. Select "Add Persona"
5. This should generate an e-mail to your registered e-mail address.
6. Follow the link contained within the e-mail. Once that is done, your PS3 Username will be successfully linked with this account.

If you receive a message telling you 'That Gamertag/PSN ID is already linked to an EA Classic account. To claim this Gamertag/PSN ID for your current EA Account, select 'EA Classic Screen Name' below, and provide the appropriate screen name and password' then please see the instructions on how to link an EA Classic Screen Name (click here).

If you continue to have difficulty or do not receive an e-mail after completing step 6 then please send an e-mail to Customer Support by clicking here and using the Contact Us link.

To ensure that your incident is resolved quickly, when creating an incident, please My Account/Billing, then Account Merging. Please include your Gamertag/PSN ID and the email address for your EA account.

ZonalFear gave me a tip that helped me with this issue when I was having trouble recently.

When trying to link your gamer tag. If you are getting the message (highlighted in red) saying that you should get an email in the main email address that the Gamer Tag was made under from EA and that it may take 24 hours.
You need to make sure that the main account that you are trying to link the Gamer Tag to has contact options check. Their are two. I am not sure which one did it. So just mark both and hit save.

Here is how it is done:
Use this link. (EA - Login)
Once you log into your main EA account. You want to click on the My Account tab. It may take a few tries to get to the page.
Their are two options.

1. Contact me about EA products, news and events.
2. Share my info with select EA partners

Make sure these are checked and saved. You should then get that message in the Gamer Tags email address.
Once you do just click the confirmation link in the email.
You Gamer Tag should then be linked.

After downloading start the game and run a new CQ map from custom Maps and enjoy!
