Default Why Keyboard/Mouse should be added.

BFBC1 didn't feature Keyboard/Mouse (KBM). There was no reason given why it didn't support it. Googling it will just give you a bunch of whiney kids complaining about using pad makes you awesome, because you're limiting yourself and it'll get you into heaven faster or some trash.

It's not about an unfair advantage, or some circlejerk of pad users thinking they are pro for using pad. It's an option, which will bring more players and sales.

Fighting games have Joysticks, are they an unfair advantage to pad? Of course not, because people will use whatever peripheral they're used to. Hell, at major Street Fighter tournaments, players have shown up with custom keyboard controllers, because they haven't had the luxury of a home version or an arcade nearby, they've learned to adapt.

I've seen players complain that console FPS games are designed for pad, but isn't that an oxymoron? FPS games were designed for keyboard and mouse.

What it boils down to is, why should majority of players be gimped by a control they aren't used to? It would be a smart move to add the functionality, players will find means to use them anyway (XFPS, FragX). Cut out the middle man.

Why do you want this on a console? It will be overpowered and gives advantage over a simply user with the controller. BC2 its also coming to PC, if you want mouse/keyboard then buy the game for PC instead of console.

D-PAD its good for consoles, but when talking about joining keyboard/mouse, then other players aim faster because its actually more easy. Been a gamer since I was seven years old and I know what Im talking about.

Its like comparing Counter Strike of the PC with the version of the first XBOX.

What about Pro Pad users? How about they add a handicap option that cripples their controls because they know how to use it. The overpowered argument is a weak card to play.

What about people who can't afford a high end PC to run these recent FPS games? Should they miss out on playing the game the way they want to play it? In before the poor argument, not everyone is a snotty 15 year old who has their parents buying them rigs.

Im not 15 idiot. Im 20, and my parents dont buy stuff for me. I actually work in a small time Graphic Design company and buy my own stuff. I have a high powered pc because I need it to run the programs that I work with.

But as a gamer I use my pc to play every game at maximum settings. This is what you actually get when you work

If you cant afford the PC then like everyone else, buy it for console. If you dont like it, then present your complain to EA or DICE.

People here are ratting over adding so much stuff for the game that it actually doesnt seems like a game anymore. I think its a enterprise company named Bad Company 2 because the people are not agree with anything.

I wasn't meaning you personally, I was getting it out the way before someone else came along and said it. I have a decent PC that can run it myself, but what about those who can't? A Keyboard and Mouse is cheaper to buy than a second official controller.

'THEY SHALL SUFFER'

Same as I was suffering from a lack of a good PC when I was younger. Besides that the money that you can spent buying a console can grant you a chance to buy a good PC if you know how to buy the correct pieces and with less that 400 you can buy a good PC.

Yeah but this guy over here its suggesting to include keyboard/mouse for consoles for the people that cant afford a good PC. But I still think it would be over powered and would gave these players an advantage over the players that got controllers.
