Hardcore idea

make it so hardcore only affects the extra damage or lower health it does and takes away the UI for ammo/wepons etc

so we can still choose to have mini map and use the spotting function

Hardcore with:
Minimap
Minimap spotting (not 3d)
auto balance (whhen it works)
friendly fore on

Kill cam off ( spawn cam on) not seperate it seems

No 3rd person views on vehicles
no x hairs (be nice to have something to aim on stationary guns & choppers )
3d spotting off

this would be a good setup

seems when kill cam is on you also get a spawn cam to see who your spawning of ie where they are shame its not seperate...

Hardcore mode right now seems a bit of a temporary workaround.

It is possible for server admins to set all these items individually I think. So all you need to do is find a server admin who agrees with you (or get a server yourself) and get this 0.5 hardcore going!

Nope, the only way to set the 50% health right now is to set it on hardcore.
And with hardcore the minimap is disabled and to re-enable it you have to disable hardcore.

It's really sad...

Oh, I didn't know that. I just assumed you could turn those things on even though it was hardcore.

My bad.

And yes, that needs to be an option. It would be way better if server admins could set all these things up individually.

but yes I think n femeta is correct seems a bit of a temp work around

and i feel my post has some good points in it if they implimented the ideas..
