Cant unlock body armor, 12g and magnum ammo? Screens inside.

12g was rank10, when I got rank 10 it didnt unlocked so I thought it was a bug. I got to 11 and I went back to check and it says only available to BF veteran. Same for body armor?

Now im 13 and I cant use magnum ammo.

EDIT: Ok its a bug, just hit 14 and the body armor unlocked while the magnum ammo turned to veteran only.. I guess its gonna unlock at rank18 or something.

edit2: the magnum ammo unlocked at rank 15.

Wait, body armor is supposed to be unlocked for Veterans? Why isn't mine unlocked, then?

Maybe it is for veterans once they get to the required rank in game.

all this veteran only stuff is total lalalala...why do they get such an edge...they get the garand which is a 2 hit kill and now body armor? W T F

I've used the garand a bit and it is not 2 hit kill. it ranges from like 3-4 up to 7

Are you sure? I have been two shot with it non head shot (leg) by a friend of mine.

And this is bull. I have played and once owned every one of these games bar 2142 but i dont have the CD keys (were on booklets) so i dont get body armor? what a crock of lalalala really. When i first read about the vet thing just the M1 grand seemed like a good deal for it but to give them something else which changes the playing field massively?? lalalalalalaed!

Play Heroes for a minute. Bam, instant veteran. Or get the demo for BF2 or BF2142. Free veteran status all around. (I actually own all of them, but you don't need to in order to get veteran ranks)

The veteran thing seems to be a little perk for people who at least care enough to try other Battlefield games.

If you didn't like the previous games enough to even bother keeping the CD Key, why are you bothering with BFBC2 in the first place?

yea its a bug. if got it too. the only thing which is for veterans should be the m1 garand. nothing else.

I was told that BF heroes does not count, i believe the EA dude said it was a beta or something so it did not recieve a vet rank. I was also told that the demos do not count.

I go to Battlefield Veterans and try to link BF2. I havnt played in over 3 years so I went to gamespy to reset my password because I was told that is where you can reset it for bf2, however when I type in my bf2 player name and my gamespy password it say account unable to validate. Any help?

the BF Vet site is utterly broken and it is pure luck if it works or not.

that is why i am pretty lalalalaed about the entire Veteran only unlock lalalalalalalala.

i agree.I have owned all the BF series on pc but because i bought them all from different means(used a different email) my rank is one.Tbh this is a lalalalae thing to do.

And no..im not going to buy them all again just to get a veteran rank.
