i had both those errors today. pb kick and instant kick with no message.
then i joined a server which changed maps while i was loading, so i had to load a map twice in a row. Been working since. Not sure if its actually related or did i just find a few working servers.

Server info had "PB ON" atleast.

I dont think its the R4 fix either, or whatever it is. because many "R4 servers" did not work at any point.

Someone oughta try joining a game when their friend sees a round is about to end and see if loading a map twice actually does anything

yeah getting instant kicked with the same message as above, punkbuster is up do date and I dont have any beta version on this PC. No biggy as release date isnt till tomorrow and im sure it will get sorted by then.

We aren't in peak times for players in Europe and USA at this time though. Europeans will be coming online in more numbers now as people get home from work etc and start playing.

I got some doubts about buying battlefield bad company 2 for pc or the ps3 one, thats the reason:

I remember it was possible in battlefield 2 to type a command on the console so it allow you to record
the game while you was playing and then you actually could view and edit on it, so is it
possible now in both or any of them?

what's going on?

I try to connect to a server either from server browser or play now and I get timed out connection or server full when it's not
also I found the my soldier account gets disconnected

all this wasn't happening with R3 servers; or at least wasn't happening yesterday

Possibly, though the more likely scenario would be that a few get connected and the rest put up with randomly generated error messages for the rest of tonight.

A tad ironic that the beta worked better than the retail version.

It's strange. I get the Lost Connection to Server intermittently.

I have been able to play, so luckier than some.

Would network traces help troubleshoot this?

I only get to play few minutes without my unlocks and then "You ave been kicked from the game" yesterday everything was fine.

I have also been able to play online fine for two days (tuesday & wednesday), only had one disconnect in about 9 hours, and apart from that everything was running like it should.

But today, I always get the "Connection to server lost" error when trying to join a server, so I dont see how this can be a problem originating at my end...

I also updated to PB Client v2.158 / A1382, if that matters.

look at the soldier in main menu after you get a failed attempt to join a server, your account is disconnected

When i log in i dont have any of my unlocks.Play a game, then i get the random you have been kicked, I check my unlocks and they have re-appeared. Is there a connection do you think?

it's not the PB because I keep checking for PB updates every time I want to play the game - just in case

Got the game last night from digital download

played 3 rounds..no problems at all..

took a short break came back and haven't been able to play since.

"Your connection to the server has been lost"

if I manage to get past that error..the game loads and I get this error message

"You have been kicked"

didn't play beta so I don't have any old files or w/e
updated punkbuster and all that lala
ran as admin
game still being g4y
fix it now plz
that is all

I sure hope this issue is fixed until this weekend! I sincerely hope EA & DICE understand us countless people who has bought the game hoping to play just to get kicked every time we join a game... Seriously, I am so disappointed right now!

Those few R4 servers that exist are either full or I can't connect to them at all. The most annoying part of this farce is that the BETA worked like a charm for me.

As we would say in Sweden "Gör om! Gör rätt!" Right Baza!?

I'm really looking forward to the fix thou. I'm dying to play! ^^

I got kicked before from the servers. Then I deleted the Bf2 Beta from the comp and in My docus. Now when I try "Play now" it says "Could not find any games, try again later". And when I try to play threw Server Browser it says I lost the connection to the server.

Now I cant play at all

We know most of the connection issues arent client end and we have people at EA and DICE on finding the cause and creating a solution to the problem.

in 7 hours all remaining STEAM users (vast majority EU players) will find a unplayable game

DICE, if there's no fix for the game until them, prepare your lalalalala for some major hurt

i live in nyc
i use linksys wrt54g router
i used it corded not wireless...

its the same router i used with 2142 bf2 and now bc2
no game has ever given me an issue about it

this game just kicked me 5 times in a row from the same server i was playing on last night for 4 hours without a hitch..

the problem is on your end not ours unfortunately.

all the past games worked fine and all of this sudden this issue now pops up after it was working...
its not the router dice..

its your codeing and building so many games at one time is why you missed something...

Even the BETA didn't put the servers under this much load. Unfortunately this is one of those issues you don't see until it happens and it only happens with sheer numbers of players.

when i run pbsetup i don't see bc2 on the list of games i can add... i stull ran an update on my existing games, like bf2, bf2142, bfv, bf42. is that correct or should i see bc2. if so i need to get a new pbsetup.
