You have been kicked from game!

Anyone else getting this message when they try to join a server? I checked PB but I dont think it is a PB error. Game was just activated and everything. Its from EADM. Any ideas?

UPDATE 3/3:
Dice is very well aware of the issues. It is not a punkbuster or client side issue if you are getting kicked right after loading the level. It is server side. They are currently working on the lastest server update and it should be updated on the servers in a few hours.

Ok seriously this is lalalalaing me off. Its not PB becouse I joined a server with PB disabled.

Yea. Got it from the EA account page. I am guessing it would not even let me into the server browser if I entered it wrong. Right?

Hahah! Only if you had it working :P I hate that steam isn't releasing it until tomorrow. My buddy bought it for me for Christmas so

I did that. Actually PB update came up with a weird error message Saying the following:

Failed to copy the file C:\Users\LJGoose\AppData\Local\Temp\pbs2242.tmp to C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Battlefield Bad Company 2 - Beta\pb\htm\lc002158.htm (error 3: the system cannot find the path specified}

The PBsetup program shows PB at version 2.158 which is what is shown at PB website. I am totally confused, stumped, and mad. Any help is appreciated here. Thanks

Why is it trying to copy files here - \Battlefield Bad Company 2 - Beta....?
Try uninstalling the beta, if you did uninstall try uninstall/reinstall of pb.

Spook the beta is uninstalled. I took the BC2 beta off the PB program and it updated fine. However I am still getting kicked. I did manage to get into 1 server but noone else was in it. Tried a server with people in it and got booted again.

I must say however the game looks awesome with the FOV change and optimazations on it. I am just disapointed about this whole PB thing. Never ever had any issues with PB before that was not resolved with updating PB. I found someone else over in the NA forums with the same problem as well. I have a feeling alot more are going to be expierencing this problem when they wake up in the morning. Dice please get ontop of this issue now!

I am starting to think that it might be a server side problem. Some servers are working fine (very few) yet most have this issue. It could be becouse the game is not offically launched yet. It was not supposed to be launched until 10Am PST... so I am going to bed now and when I get up later hopefully it will be fixed. I got some multiplayer in (unranked I beleive) and about an hour of singleplayer. The game is amazing. I just hope that the reason for the issues with multiplayer is due to what I said above.

well i guess its just the usual pb stuff:
check your firewall settings. pb has to be able to access pbsvc_bc2.exe, PnkBstrA.exe & PnkBstrB.exe.

Same problem here. I can't play online because I got kicked after the map loading screen. (Ingame Message: You have been kicked from game / Du wurdest aus dem Spiel geworfen)

I tried to reinstall the game -> the problem remains
I tried to update PB -> the problem remains
I checked Firewall -> the problem remains
I checked PB A & B service -> they're running -> the problem remains
I deinstalled deamon tools -> the problem remains
I restartet the Computer about 1000 times -> the problem remains

I AM GETTING CRAZY -> but the problem remains

Please help.

p.s. i don't use any hacks :-

)

Wow. You are more determined than me LOL. I was able to get into a 1 server last night by flipping off punkbuster in options. However something I noticed is that when the 99% of the servers that kick me load up and the screen shows up to show what the settings are it does not say on or off it just says nothing. Almost like something is not communicating.

Have you actually uninstalled the beta, or just deleted it? Perhaps the registry files of the beta is messing with the client.

i notice the screen turns black for a second and back to the loading screen and after 1-2 seconds, it will look like the game loading and suddenly jumps back to the main menu and gives you the error "you have been kicked from game"
