DICE, why on earth was the AT4 damage reduced

The only benefit to the AT4 for losing the tracer lock on was the fact that it did more damage... So now that you have taken that away why should we use it? What was your reason for reducing the damage of the AT4 from 420 to 360, now the same damage as the RPG...

Honestly I never heard one complaint about the AT4 so why the reduction?, If you want to reduce the damage or something, do it to the Uncle Carl! Do you pick numbers out of a hat when fixing things?

Might as well use the Carl now, hell it only takes an extra hit to kill tanks and before I spot one I can kill a load of infantry with it... DICE your a bunch of lunatics!

well, I'm not entirely sure, but the AT4 damage was 420 pre-patch, right?

now it is listed as 360, just like the blimmin' RPG7

the At4 is totally useless against tanks now... it is outperformed in every way by the RPG7...

the only thing that keeps me using it is the enjoyment I get when I take down choppers...

Im using xplosiv dmg and pilot of blackhawk was my brother with armor perk.

The AT4 was difficult to master and its a weapon that you can often end up dead from using it due to its aiming system leaving you exposed too long.The reward for mastering that rocket was for its better damage. Now its completely pointless extra data that poor Mr Kalms has to cook every time.

ya, but the tracer could've just been forgotten... the damage value on the AT4 was definately changed though...

Indeed.Its wise not to assume that it is 100% nerfed until that list can be verified.

Perhaps Demize can confirm this? I know thats asking alot of you dude but you may as well help out here other wise it will only get out of hand.

I just hopped in an empty server to confirm

RPG-7 vs. Abrams front armor = 72 health left

AT-4 vs. Abrams front armor = 72 health left

the Hot Carl was allways better against vehicles as well as the RPG.
the At4 allways was for the 1337-people that want to show off there 1337-skills with a inferior weapon.

since DICE did not seperate the two modes, balance changes that are made to hardcore lalalala over normalmode and vice versa.

Sniper rifle change was also the result of hardcore.

Never thought I'd say this but I'll ditch the A4 for CG. For a little less damage you get speed, tracking, and big splash damage. Being able to 2 shot tanks was the only reason I used it over the other launchers. RPG is slow and low splash for minimal damage boost. :/

1250. But in case you really haven't played normal in that long, it just shows a percentage. So that's 72% of 1250.

Great, so the dedicated AT launcher gets nerfed against tanks while the anti-everything Carl Gustav stays the same.

Way to go DICE, or Demize, or whoever the lalalala is responsible for this change. I couldn't have imagined a more effective way of spitting in our faces.
