R16 Beta Server - Page 5

Last night, we distributed a build called "Server R16 Beta" to a few RSPs. The build contained some bugfixes plus a probable workaround for the most likely culprit with regards to the newly introduced lag phenomena.

The RSPs deployed R16 Beta at a few locations which were known to experience consistent lag (and KillerCreations made it an optional install). Initial reports are positive.

We have no ETA for Server R16 yet.

just for the record, we had lags way over 5 seconds on our server. ( Multiplay.co.uk )
Started today.

Why it is called R15b in my adminpanel, can u tell me the buildnumber please to check out if this is the same build?

Just came from the server, had some good rounds and some great discourse with a particular player, lol.

Didn't experience any lag or rubberbanding, all seemed silk smooth.

just tried, it was nice but i did freakin horrible the second round, i havent had a bad game like that IN AGES. 3/10 WHAT THE HELL lol....!!!!!i rage quitted of course.

Yeah, was in too and it seems smooth. But that particular player OMG! How negative and annoying was he? Where did he get the energy? Was his name sonofbowling,forgot!

Just played a bit on it with Full 24 players, and there were no rubberbanding, nice hitreg, I could even raise up my graphics to medium with more then 24 fps (which is a miracle).
I have to say its got future.

Whats the difference between R15 and R16 beta? What makes it soo good that I can play with no lag and high fps?

Ok just to wrap things up:

1. OMG! It seems that I was wrong after all.
2. I wasn't trolling, it just lalalalaes me of seeing some guy advertising stuff of things not pre-confirmed! That seems like a lack of attention to me, but this is just the way i see things.
3. I'm not 12 years old
4. I'm not raged at DICE, not even a little bit, I love DICE.
5. I can be a little agressive

Has anyone tested the server with multiple rcon clients connected yet? It seems that was a potential lag inducer with r15.
