I think chances are very high for port valdez conquest. Some BF pages have images of this map since beginning. I think its in the field manual too.

Map Overview

It would still be better than new squad dm/rush maps

/e: The map overview also shows the oob area of beta port valdez. Maybe its already in the game and just needs to be unlocked? conspiracy..

It's big enough. Americans get the chopper in stage 1 and keep the base 'till the end, so they get choppers, much like Isla Innocentes. Russians get the chopper at the end.

Americans attack. Set 1 = Base A; Set 2 = Base B; Set 3 = Base C; Final set = Russian base.

Nah the current setup of the map would be bad and far too hard to defend imo, would need to be twice as long but not as wide.

The multiple choppers and tanks is all this map has going for it. Sure, they'll take it out. DICE just love taking the fun out of things. Have you played atacama on squad rus? It's boring as hell.

If they kept Atacama Rush the same size as it is currently, it will be complete fail. How would it play ANY different than Conquest?

Pretty much how I'd do Atacama Rush



STAGE 1
Defenders :
2x Tanks.
2x AT emplacements.
1x Helicopter
MCOMS are both in different warehouses.

Attackers :
4x Tanks
1x Light Vehicle
1x UAV

STAGE 2
Defenders :
2x Tanks
1x AT emplacement
1x HMG
1x AA Emplacement
MCOMS are in two houses.

Attackers
2x Tanks
1x Helicopter
2x Quads
1x UAV

STAGE 3
Defenders :
2x Tanks
1x AA emplacement
1x AT
1x HMG
MCOMS in the ship wreckage; one near UAV and the other in the ship's hull, close to the flag.

Attackers :
Keep using base from STAGE 2.
1x Helicopter
2x Tanks
2x Quads
1x Light vehicle
1x UAV

STAGE 4
Defenders :
2x Tanks
2x HMG
MCOMS : one in the open near the harpoon missiles, one in the bunkhouse on the side closest to the Russian base.

Attackers :
Base moves to the base from STAGE 3
1x APC
2x Quads
1x UAV

STAGE 5 [final]
Defenders :
1x Helicopter
2x Tanks
2x AT emplacements
MCOMS in warehouse near the helipad and one in those bunkhouses.

Attackers :
2x Tanks

They should do a new map copying one of the maps in the campaign.
Like the rainy part, u got a Type 88 S sniper rifle & u gotta time ur shots with the thunder, that map would be nice. Rain - affecting vision ^^
