When is TEXT CHAT during RESPAWN going to be FIXED?

Just wondering when this is going to be happening. I said "fixed" because I know DICE couldn't possily have forgotten to add the ability to continue using text chat while waiting 15 seconds to respawn.

They have already confirmed that it will be in the next patch IIRC.

its getting up my nose that i cant slabber (stong words) at the guy thats just knifed me while i was dicking around. by the time i respawn he will never know what am talking about plus if i try to tell him he got me good someone else has knifed me... grrr

It was never a bug, so it won't be fixed. Chatting while dead means you can let your team know the enemy positions. Remember; dead men can't talk, and they shouldn't.

I love the responses "hey guys, we gonna fix it in the next patch" then the patch comes and "hey guys, yeah we didn't have time to fix it/it proved to be a really troublesome feature so we will fix it in the next patch" - put on a loop and repeat

This was one of my pet peeves! Thanks dice!
The more you guys fix stuff, the more likely I will spend money on DLC.

Still waiting on;

hold to aim down sights
separate key to disarm the m-comm
the entire team can hear you over the mic and not just your squad mates
switch weapons while running
choppers controls (more agility)
chopper's flares
friend's list

Fix those and I will consider buying DLC.

The question is, is it gonna be a server side option.

I agree that ghosting can be a problem, but it shouldnt be forced down on your players who got use to being able to chat.

Doesnt matter, just because you never came to the situation to see it being broken....

Regardless if you want it or not, theres something broken with knife and it needs fixing.

The knife has two animations.
One is the "slash" used to break doors and stuff.
The other is the "stab" used for kills.

Before the patch i never got a kill with the "slash" animation.And that leads me to think that if you're not close enough you get the "slash" and you hit air.Now, if you were close enough you would get the "stab" animation and get that dogtag.

After the patch i get random "slash" kills, usually when i frantically press the knife button when someone is rushing me.Also backstabbing doesn't work.You get the "slash" animation again, blood comes out and nothing happens.I stabbed a sniper 4 times and when he finally realized something is wrong he turns around and knifes me!

The thing is that knife is not trustworthy anymore...
