+1 here too. I'd gladly do it.

This is what it looks like for me:

http://img688.imageshack.us/img688/6...portingr10.mp4

When I hit TAB you can see that my latency in the server is 176ms. When I first joined the server my latency was 125ms, my ping in the server browser was ~30ms.

some space left on our's, if you get on it you'll get one the later number slots which is where the issue seems to be, the longer you are in the server the less it is, and the new people joining will be suffering it.

Actually my server is full of UK players at the moment (too early US time) nearly every player on my server right now is from out of the states. So this isn't an accurate statement really.

My server is less then 200 miles away from me and I get about a 15 ping to it (not ingame of course but by doing a ping test to my IP) and even I experience the wonderful world of skipping floating people at certain times. As people leave the server and I move up slots it goes away and everything runs great. I've also confirmed through my GSP that according to them 80% of server hosts worldwide are getting complaints of this issue so I find it hard to believe that a dev can't duplicate this problem. Its been around since server R8. If I can provide more info on this issue don't hesitate to ask, I've been trying to investigate it as I said since R8.
I think you may be on to something. All the servers I have tried recently have been almost completely full when I joined them and I see the lag, approx. 15 FPS below what I was seeing pre-patch on almost completely full servers.

If possible try looking at server "Official DICE Server" and see if you get the same problems with rubberbanding. Would be good to see if it is a peak time issue (I mean we still need to fix it but would be good to narrow it down).

Trying to get the in game lag proved difficult at best.
I find the general gaming lag is most noticed in heavily populated server. 32 player Port Valdez should produce the lag you're looking for. I can confirm the appearance of this lag since R7 but it's strange. Even though I have seen people (occasionally) rubberbanding across my screen the game is still playing typically smoother than before R7 and most of my shots on the warping players are still connecting and downing them.

Usually the lag occurs after being in the server for some time (10-15 minutes) and I have the feeling it's directly related to server load, player count, and large amounts of heavy action.

I noticed not being able to knife anyone from behind. Also I get the spawn issue, have to click enter battle about 4-10 times before it works and it lags like crazy whenever I hit it. I have AVG installed, is this a problem. It's not a firewall though so I don't need to add an exception. I'll try running the game with it disabled. I never got these problems before the current patch though.

The in-game lag seems extremely intermittent at best (or worst I guess), I've had a few friends that also have the game complain about it since the patch, but I also have a few friends that say that game runs a lot smoother for them now overall, and I personally don't notice any difference at all, weird.

Glad to hear the AV / Spawn lag issue will be fixed as it seems the 'temp fix' suggested is NOT possible if you use McAfee Total Protection as I do and everyone else in our house.

Bazajaytee.... any word on when this game will run without ctd's

most of us that noticed this issue after the march 18th patch haven't been able to play since... I was hoping that this latest patch would resolve our issue.... and yes I posted my specs and tried all the fixes....

I'm with the majority on lag. Seems to be on full servers when you are in one of the last slots. I've seen it a lot. I try to avoid them now for that specific reason. I complained about it so much that I discussed reducing the # of slots on our server to keep it from happening.

Good to know. I was getting frustrated that I kept getting no kills when I knifed people.
It made for a hectic battle situation, but was taking up my time as I was wasting it on swinging the knife at them several times in a row when I could have moved on to the next enemy.

Its definitely an issue on certain servers not all.

I find the killercreation 32 man servers to be the worst for me and rubberbanding.

I would join you, but your server says it's full at 25/32 players.

Can you imagine that on another type of message board...

"Coca-Cola is experiencing problems with the product line, So while we fix it be sure to knife people in the face."

That's how I sort of read it. lol

Tried 3 battlefield.no servers last night and all of them had lag. Full 32 slot servers on RUSH. Gave it up and jumped over to TV2 without a single problem for several hours and it didn't matter if the server was full a lot.

its a really strange issue, before the patch I avoided 32 slot server because of the lag, rubber banding and bad hitreg.
After the patch I haven't encountered any of the problems on 32 slots, even my hitreg improved.

I always thought it had to do with the game service providers because they put more bc2 servers on one box but now I'm not sure anymore.
Baza, did you change something in the netcode?
