Maintenance Tuesday 16th Feb ONGOING UPDATE

Backend maintenance is scheduled for Tuesday the 16th between 10:00-13:00 GMT and 02:00AM-05:00AM PST.

During this time Battlefield Bad Company 2 will be unavailable.

UPDATE: The maintenance has been restarted due to issues on restarting the service under load. The EA servers will be down for another 75 minutes. In which time we are working on a new server and client to be released for when the servers come back online.

What is the reason for maintenance when most people stopped playing after they found out that 20 fps is a way too litttle for reliable play - OR - there are too many unfair players hacking and glitching. Why don't you make an update?

Im sorry if I sound rude, but us beta testers would like you to tell us something more than "maintenance at tuesday" and "we are doing the best we can". You should inform us of your intentions in the full version regularly for example, exactly how many maps will there be? (many different sites say different amounts)
By the way, tell us what's keeping the glitch,bug,friend list etc. fixes(I thought you wanted stability) ? You forgot?

I really hope you push to have a updated version of the Beta Client released, or when it's time your final RC. Like what was mentioned before you can do all the internal testing in the world, but real world testing is really where you will find the most issues. I really find it imperative for you all to do this, becuase I want the game to be as successful as you all.

So I really hope we get to actually test a version that has been updated so we can squash any bugs prior to 2-28-10

Its a maintenance shutdown..

Don't get your hopes up for Fixes everyone, Baza didn't mention any fixes.

It would be nice, but lets not start assuming anything.

tho the last server maintenance (02/02) fixed the sticky keys bug temporarely for me. This MAY or MAY NOT fix some server/client comm bugs. it MIGHT solve the disconnecting and some lag. Dont get ur hopes up tho

Why are they only updating the final version ? How do they now that the patches they make will work without applying them to the beta ??? It's a nonsense, I played Shattered Horizon, Ryzom betas and they were patching regularly the beta to see the changes !

You know what? He's got a point. In this economy $60 is all the thanks they need. For that price we SHOULD be getting updates and a solid game.... Not to mention them working on BF3 so it can be released this year..... heh

no company is forced to provide a BETA (B-E-T-A), just be grateful we can at least test the game, in not the best way but you get my point... they don't have to patch/update beta either

this game will deliver, I'm sure of it, if not I would have canceled my pre-order long time ago
