Default *Possible Sound Fix*

Try disabling your SPDIF output on the sound card.

1. In Windows Vista/7, simple right click the speaker in the tray and select "Playback devices".
2. Right click the SPDIF option and select "Disable".
3. For good measure, disable any others that you do not use.

Given that most people use standard speaker setups that go through the 3.5mm strereo output jack, this seems to be a potential fix.

Also - I have had good success with the Logitech G35 headphones. They are USB based and therefore do not use hardware sound cards.

Good hunting!

*Admins - if this seems to work, consider sticky*

Thats actually a good question espem....

As a G35 user, I never had a problem with sound. However a friend had major issues with sound lag making the game unplayable.

I thought I would post this up as he has managed to get it working now.

He has an Creative XFI system.
