Not a huge bug, though i believe it's still a bug. Checked out the Weapons and Gadgets menu, the score needed for some weapons and gadgets are indeed... daunting
![]() example: for the M60 for Medic the score needed is 100025000.. i do hope that's not the case

for the final game that could be a good thing, people didn't like the fact that you could "finnish" BF2142 much faster then BF 2, but if this is a 1 month BETA, and we are trying to find bugs in the game, we don't want to spend a year trying to unlock the unlocks to test them for bugs... we dont get that time!

It's not error, look at the requited points: "100025000" - every better weapons have "1000xxxxx" requited points - in final game, the requited points for M60 will be 25000, they just did this to make these weapons unreachable in beta

I think partly why it's daunting is because of the huge amount of points earned for various achievements in the game. This means that any sort of long-term goal must require a number of points so large that it's almost incomprehensible.
People are accustomed to thinking of numbers between 1 and 10 000; anything more than that is hard to imagine. The points in each round should be scaled down to something more reasonable, like bf2142 had it. Even if that means introducing fractions, it would be superior to this system of not even being able to count how many digits are in the overall tally of your points
