Just had a quick go, my early thoughts:
-Key entry at first log-in - allow pasting into the window, -Server browser - allow sorting by all the columns, latency meters dont work very well, allow entry into games by double clicking, allow filtering by latency. Also need filtering by mode and map, allow searching, games feels fair amateurish in the server browser. -Server options - (might be in) allow us to filter classes, weapons e.t.c. -FOV - Looks AWEFUL - DESPERATELY NEEDS CHANGING. 90MIN -Controls - Not a fan of melle on the middle mouse, couldnt you put it on Q?, Surely G is the obvious button to throw a grenade? I think your primary wep needs to be on 1 aswell, seen a fair few people complaining about this although im used to it. -Spawn Screen - Allow typing and show the chat window -Chat Window - Make player chat messages hang around for longer, blink and you miss em. Probably temporary - cant get into any games right now and stats not recording for most. Thats all for now, will edit this post later with some more.

-where's the command rose? (button Q)
-server filters not staying -UAV bug. i automatically exited it after being in it about 5mins, and had black square in my HUD after that. reporting more later. good game. heavy as hell though... :P |

Here is my Beta feedback I will update this post with anything new I find.
The bad. There are problems with mapping some keys. Enter and the delete keys can't be mapped. Enter is used to bring up the menu and delete key cancels the input. You can't sprint and strafe at the same time. FOV too zoomed in. There is a delay entering and exiting vehicles. The lag is fine one minute but very bad the next. The mouse icon is small and blends into the background in menus. Hold keys or click keys needs to be in the options menu for aim and crouch. The mini map can't be zoomed in and out. Keep getting server time out's You have to login each time there should be a option to auto login when the game starts. The good. My PC is old AMD 5200+ but runs well on medium to high. The sounds are the best by far the shouts from your team or enemies echo's from a far. The guns are meaty and give a good kick. The overall look of the game is as good as I was expecting. OK, here is my feedback... so far its "bad"...
- Had 2 CTD's in the space of about 5 minutes (will post spec below) - Every server has awful lag - Your own weapon sounds seem really low volume wise - Can't work out what the TAB key is showing, is it ping or score? Anyway I had "50" of "something" - FOV seems a bit low, could do with a bump up slightly. - Oh when I had a moment of non-lag I shot a box of explosives and a shed blew up, that was kinda cool. - FOV is really too low, I got a headache again
- am I right that all the changes from the PS3 Beta DID NOT make it into the PC beta? f.e. red triangles are still bright red - heli feels too 'light', like a remote controlled mini helo, take-off time is too fast too. - I can't use all of my Logitech G9's 2 thumbbuttons, only 1 is recognized. - sound sucks, honestly, after the PS3 beta I am dissapointed. - if possible I'd like to know the changes that have been made to the serverbrowser after this build. - soldier movement feels abit slow or sloppy, dunno how to define it, soldier runs too slow, but I think everyyone needs to get used to this new game too. Well sprint could be a BIT faster, just a bit. - when switching to RPG and back to rifle, sometimes there is no animation Hitreg is real good, weapons recoil is great and they feel great too. Game is awesome so far and it's really a ton of fun for us. A couple issues I've experienced thus far is in trying to strafe while running, attempting to fix my controls I'm unable to delete currently binded keys, and the map seems to be a little... bright. I'm also not a big fan of having to hold down my shift or CTRL key in order to stay sprinting or croutched. Maybe being able to increase mouse sensitivity even more than the standard MAX/accelerator.
Also, "Updating Stats", that needs to be WAY faster and being able to rename the squads. Seem to be having control issues while attempting to move through water onto land. And apparently I drowned while trying to get on shore... The "Add Friend" feature, while a neat addition, seems to be broken. You can send a request, and the end user can accept the request, but the individual is NOT added to your friends list. Also, when you unlock weapons while in game, you are unable to access those weapons until after you leave the server and have your stats updated (by logging back in). This is a bug for the Engineer class: This is the scenario: 1 Attacker Engineer and 1 Defender Engineer. While the Defending Engineer is using the drill to repair a vehicle the Attacking Engineer uses their respective drill to kill the one repairing. When this happens the sound that's played when the drill is active continues to play in the background until the Defending Engineer respawns. At this point the drill sound goes away. Tried this multiple times to confirm it as a bug. Another bug I, myself, and a buddy witnessed was in the Squad creation menu. My rank insignia started to go through all 50 levels at an alarming rate. Each rank after another was displayed. Not sure how else to describe this, but it would loop continuously and display very briefly each rank going all the way up to 50 and then starting over. Also, the problem isn't about strafing right or left in a sprint, the problem is running in diagonals. You can run forward, but you can't use the left or right keys to run diagnonally in a sprint. When it comes to respawns, you should only be allowed to respawn on your squad LEADER as opposed to any individual in your squad. The kill cam is a waste of time. I don't care who killed me and I don't care where they killed me from. Don't try to imitate MW2, go back to BF2 basics. Also, prone needs to be added (I'm pretty sure 95% of the people playing this game keep saying the same thing), this is NOT HALO, it's lalalalala a Battlefield game. Holy lalalala. Have some respect for yourselves. FOV! FOV! FOV! Are you freaking kidding me? I mean, really, who the heck wants to a screen full of nothing BUT your gun? Glare, holy cow.
