Default Repair Tool won't be able to kill enemies?

"The Repair Tool can only repair or damage vehicles and stationary weapons."

I recently read this.. Does this mean that it can't kill enemies?

No , it means you won't be able to fix crates with the repair tool but you can still kill enemies with it

From my BF2 expirience as helipilot - i have never seen any sniped pilot in air. Sniping a pilot, on my memory, used only as helirape on airfield among teammates...

As russkiy i can say about actual Mi-28 windshield - it withstands bullets of caliber 12.7 mm and 20 mm shells...

I used to snipe chopper pilots. Just have to wait for the right time. You can't get them doing evasive maneuvers.

While you're confirming, it can still destroy structures (walls and such)? And damage crates?

The last one, in particular . . . considering the detpack damage to crates was lowered, I could see that repair tool damage to the crates might be removed. I suppose the "repair tool cooldown" might be an equivalent adjustment, though, come to think of it. But, then again, the cooldown is only mentioned in association with fixing vehicles in the fix list . . .

I'm a fan of using the repair tool to it's fullest, if you can't tell.

When did the repair tool ever damage crates?

Yeah, I've tried in BFBC and the icon just flashes, but you can keep going and it doesn't get damaged.

Uh, I've taken crates with a repair tool before . . . it doesn't do much damage, but it does damage it.
