What do you mean by a Non Torrent download? What files are you looking for? If it is the actually game installer that is not allowed. If it is the sounds_Client.zip, I am not sure if it will help if you are installing from a DVD.

To tell you the truth, from what you describe, it sounds as if you are running out of space on the Hard drive as being one of the possibilities. Yet it is hard to tell without more info.

The issue has to be with the computer itself. Especially if you can install it on another computer in the house.

its not the hard drive space as i have a good 30gb left
ive read other things about it being the disk drive driver not being up to date but mine is
i mean all the files in a single zip but one that isn't a torrent(something like an iso)

Unfortunately data is pretty dense on a DVD, so even a minor scratch can render unreadable enough crucial data to make the disk useless.

The location and depth of the scratch are of course important though, and you did say that they were "minor", so other problems might be the cause.

Good luck anyway!
