thx baza, its good to hear something positive after all the disapointments in pc fps land. :/

anyways idk if its been adressed allready but the pac gunship (or eu one) needs a couple fixes, the shield doesnt seem to work properly on the doragon and the rockets are no way near as effective as the ones on the talon. and there seems to be a glitch where pac only gets one gs and eu 2. the last issue can be fixed easely in map code, but the difference (read talon > doragon) can't and i find it rly frustrating bc it makes certain modes lopsided.

yea, they tried to address the talon vs doragon imba couple patches back by letting doragon missiles track for a longer time, making turns and such. but it never really fixed the issue for most. it's just one of many issues still remaining, to see more, click the link in my sig.

Yeah, it's hard to enjoy a game of "scissors paper stone" when the other guy's stone beats your stone.

the other guy's scissors beats your stone too. and making things worse is a lot of the world's top gunship aces play EU for the talon, meaning you got about 0% chance taking those guys down if you're PAC.

Well then they're not the worlds top gunship aces then, are they? I know pilots that could easy down a Talon (or two) with a Doragon. The major thing that annoys me is the shield I find, as if you correct and lead the missiles enough for the Doragon they're more than fine..

I am looking for pilots who can take on the talon in the current situation, our team can't attain "domination" in the air and therefore our only good performances come from IO. We do have 1 good pilot who gets the 60-10 kds in the talon on pubs, but he finds the doragon frustrating like me more often then not.

please NO.... i repeat NO public beta testing its what caused all the delays and problems last time with every noob in the community saying "this doesnt work like i want it to MODIFY so i like it" and such, leave it to the "professionals" stop bugging them and wait

I do love 2142 its the only pc game i play anymore but bf1943 is keeping my attention for now on xbox360 and so will BF:BC2 when march 4/5th comes next year so i'm not too worried.
Hopefully they will soon remake the 2142 mythos/era using the new frostbite engine cuz it looks mmmmmmmm gooooodddd !!! Thats wat i am hoping for more than a patch for an old buggy engine although i know it will bring me back to the fold if they do

Good job EA/Dice, most people dont appreciate the work you do, but going on your new frostbite engine they are missing out TONNES !

btw, if NS is gonna be included, could we please have non-assault lines game mode for NS maps? i'd like to enjoy these maps without those lame goliaths.

the patch is already 1yr old since being revealed, let's fin-ish up and get it out by x-mas already!
