do you have to have northeren strike +(bf2142) to get the unlocks +internet?

i have a server and bf2142 of cource
posting northern strike

or can you get unlocks by gaining ranks???
im so confused?????

.If you want all 60 (i thnk) unlocks u need northern strike, however it is possible to get the ns unlocks without getting ns.

For example if you unlock all of the support ones you can have the ns unlocks (ids and clark rdx) from a regular promotion, however this will mean you won't be able to get another unlock from another tree, unless u buy ns.

Also remember about the feild upgrades. You can unlock them by working as a team

That is actually wrong. You need the NS expansion. The game will not be allowed you to unlock the NS items unless you have NS entitled to your account.

Now you can pick up a kit on the battlefield and use them. Just like you can with the Skin for the SCAR-11.

Yeah, in between the standard Voss+defib+rockets setup, you'll find the occasional player who takes radar nades!

It's fun in busy firefights when squads res each other a lot, and you end up with other people's kits ...plenty of people have still never seen a radar nade, and they're all like "ooooohhhh...".

so that means you dont get the unlocks in any order???

It means you have to buy northern strike to get the unlocks on-demand.
