EADM Battlefield 2142-Deluxe Edition problem

Whenever I go to download and install Battlefield 2142-deluxe edition I see a greyed out Start Button, I also have battlefield 2-complete collection in EADM and have downloaded and installed it with no problem so I was wondering if anyone can give me a hand in resolving this issue so i can enjoy the game

Have you properly activated the key you have for the download?

Yea I activated it the moment I got it and I just got an email from EA so ill try their suggestions and post whether it was fixed or not

Good luck.

You did well to get the Deluxe Edition anyway, because the Northern Strike add-on is definitely worth it.

You can't unlock the really juicy equipment without the N/S part activated, so you'll appreciate that in the end.

When it's installed and working properly, find a server with a lowish ping which states on the loading screen that it streams to one of the anti-cheat organisations, and then you should have a decent time.

I know that's why when i saw the deal I had to go with it...

Also the methods they told me didn't work...Thinking if this keeps up I should just go by the deluxe edition on DVD : /

Sounds like EADM can't find where BF2142 has been installed to be able to start the game.
Are you able to run BF2142 from the Start Bar?

Try uninstalling BF2142 totally and reinstall it from EADM.

You could try going deep into the file location where the EADM downloads the files to and use the installer manually from their. It should located in this location.
C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EADM\cache
It is a hidden file so you need to change the folder options to view it.
Their is a folder like this { ########## } with numbers that are unique to your account. Do not tell people what those numbers are. In their you should see list of folders for the things that you have download from the EADM. Search into them until you find the installer.
If that does not work try what Bazajaytee suggested about reinstalling.

That's what I did but it wont even let me download the game to install it
not gonna complain found the deluxe edition new cheap so ill grab that, thanks for the help guys and the only thing I have to say is curse you EADM...curse you....

If you contact EA Support they can take a look at your account to see why you can't download the game.
I thought it was playing you couldn't do rather than downloading the actual game. Doing what VectorRoll mentioned should help your problem. Be sure to have EADM closed while you delete files from the cache folder.
