Got a problem with my northern strike BP

Ok well a long time ago i got NS and installed it all was good and i was happy, (not with ea servers doh)
and well recently i sort of wanted to come back into the game, as i haven't played it for quite some time...
A problemo....I had to reinstall all my programs on my PC as i had a virus that delted all my pc programs, including microsoft office 03....
So, i reinstalled 2142, adn 1.2, 1.25, 1.4 then 1.5 however between 1.2 and 1.25 i tryed to install NS cuz that's recommended and couldn't...I then tryed to install it after 1.5, ye t again couldn't...
REASON BEING:
MY PC THINKS IT'S INSTALLED BUT IT ISN'T DUE TO THE VIRUS!
Now i un-installed EADM and reinstalled it, and it still thinks it's installed, any suggestions on how to fix this problem? and also when i get a new hard drive, does that mean my NS will be lost forever, due to the code being used 2x? As once on my old HD and one on my new HD...

Well the first thing you should do is get rid of the virus!

2 You have to do this to uninstall EA Support

Do that then reinstall patch with the full 1.50 patch install NS then if you get the "modified content error" when joining NS servers come back here and we will tell you how to sort that out

You are better of using the 1.4 patch and 1.5 incremental to avoid the unmodified content error and BFHQ crash bug and Audio Settings crash bug and random ctd.

So manually uninstall
Install 2142
Patch to 1.4
Install NS
Patch to 1.4
Patch to 1.50 with incremental patch.
Then you just have to worry about Punkbuster Services and manually updating punkbuster

you actually dont need to deal with the old patches... you can jsut use the newest one right away.

Hows that u don't have to reinstall them alla gain?

The 1.50 patch is all the patches in one, so you should only need to use one patch, unfortunately it wasn't made properly and causes errors, so you need to use the 1.4 patch and only use the 1.50 at the end.

If you use the registry fix then you just need the one patch

for simplicity's sake use the two.

p.s. where is the announcement saying this problem? EA = £$^"££s
