The Invalid CD Key Strikes Back

Problem. Today I started Battlefield 2142, and after finding that my keyboard suddenly didn't work and restarting my computer, I start it again to find that when I try to join a server, it says 'Invalid CD Key'.

I know other people have had this problem, but I've been playing Battlefield 2142 for a while, and never had any problems (apart from when I was STUPID enough to try EADM and get Northern Strike

)

Anyone else have this problem/know how to fix it?

I haven't touched EADM for ages, since the NS scenario.
That can't have caused it.

Wrong,you have both links,one for the downloader one for the DVD,thats the cure for CD KEY

Even so, I've been online loads of times before, so why should it suddenly stop working?

any way to do it without tangling with the registry???, my pc is being a little b!tch at the minute and i dont wanna do anything that will send it into full on sulk mode

I think you can use Battlefield 2142_code.exe to input your cd key and then patch with 1.50 full or 1.40 full and 1.50 incremental.
