Default dedication

Whom is the most dedicated player that you know?

I haven't played much in the past 48 hours, and already that has been enough to make me drop from 29 to 32 on the leader board.

This tells me that there are some DEDICATED mofos out there who are not going to stop till they overtake KAIN...

Does anyone have any insane stories of dedication to the game? ...Perhaps you turned down a hot date to play? Or maybe you missed a grandparent's funeral so that you wouldn't let your clan down in a scrim?

Whatever it is, I'm waiting to hear...

Hmm I'll reverse the question

'Do you have any insane stories of dedication to the game? ...Perhaps you turned down a hot date to play? Or maybe you missed a grandparent's funeral so that you wouldn't let your clan down in a scrim?'

I'm trying to think if I have.

LOL Ap0stacy, no really, even I have never gone quite that far...

...although I did once bring my PC into a pub in a suitcase when my home internet connection failed.

I said to the landlord that I'd drink and buy food there all day if he let me set up the computer in the corner and play bf 2142.

He agreed. I did it every day for three days till my home connection started working again.

I'm MUCH less into the game these days though, and I spend a fraction of the time playing that I did back then...

As for KAIN ...no comment.

Lmfao! And I thought your examples were bad xD Didn't anyone stare at you?

However, it sounds as if it was pretty cosey.

I have to admit, in 'Battlefield 2142 Frustration' I'm like that some times, well recently I have been. Usually I want to hit something and then respawn and draw my knife, trying to get 'uber' revenge, it results in failure and immense anger.

I find talking on a mic odd.

haha yeh i do go mental on the odd occasion but its usually due to some unwelcome bug/rammer/camper etc... or just at myself for being a nubcake.

~~
The only dedication I have is on Sundays. Me and 2 buddies get together for around a 12 hour BF2142 marathon, with a break for something to eat. It's our 'game day'. Girlfriends, children, and anyone not playing can bugger off that day.
