Due to the lack of NS servers we have decided to switch our ranked server onto Northern Strike on Saturdays and Mondays.

All welcome if you fancy getting some of those NS unlocks or playing some different maps.

It is Mixed Conquest/Titan/Assault lines

Only NS on Saturday and Mondays. We started with 'Northern Strike Mondays' but it has been so popular we have extended it to Saturday as well

No I meant like,say Camp Gibraltar on too Belgrade(best map IMO) and then in too Port Bavaria,can you set the server up like that or is it NS or vanilla only? no mix

We tried mixing NS and standard maps before, but we did not have much success. Every time it switched to NS too many people would drop out. The way we do it now, people are there because they want to play NS

Yeah ladz, just NS maps I'm afraid, we as a clan are looking forward to seeing how the NS days work out.

We had such a good response to the NS maps that we hope the Saturdays will be even more popular, especially with this wonderful British weather we are having at the moment.

Up to now we have been a Titan only clan so the assault maps are a new jaunt for us.

Now that's funny, I ended my session this morning on your server and now (at work) I read your "advertising".

Usually I don't really recognize where I'm on, but your "Don't whine unless it's about no more beer!" made me laugh.

And yes, "NS only" is the correct way and will be successfull.

Glad you enjoyed mate. We switched the server over to NS Saturday at midnight, and we had a game within minutes, so there is a definite need for NS servers.

Venom, have you tried searching the rest of the threads mate

install order>install 2142>update to latest patch>install NS> re-install latest patch again

has worked with no probs for the rest of our clan and many others.

i tryed that to no avail .... seriously since that latest patch i pretty much had all the "bugs" an install can have. (i know how to uninstall software (more specific "battlefield games") properly)

i dont even want to share the details as it would take way to long.

anywas have fun on the NS server, if im prepared for another afternoon and get lucky i just might turn up there

remove old bf2142
install bf2142
install 1.50
install NS
install 1.50

also delete the bf2142 document or folder in my documents then it should work fine
if it vista you are using install punkbuster with their auto update feature and run the game as administrator PunkBuster Online Countermeasures

So yet again our NS days proved popular, it seems a fair few people still wanna play this, so don't forget, Mondays and Saturdays are =[SLAG]= NS days, pop onto our server and get those NS badges guys

no i dont work for EA and was only trying to help you hadnt mentioned at all whether you patched punkbuster up so shut up venom and i hope your pc now blows up and dies or maybe you
