Closed beta= selected users such as dice testers/combat testing.

Open beta= Available to everyone and their dog.

They already done testing weeks ago and found one issue. Chances are this is another build with jason brices titan map.

YES!!!

FYI...if anyone is reinstalling, all you will need is EA DLM INSTALL, or store bought DVD. The only patch you will need prior to 1.51, will be 1.50 full patch installed.

and pretty soon, your bf2142 discs will make nice coasters!!!

Sweet! New patch will get rid of hacking scum... at least for a few weeks. And new maps will be awesome

A pity there's no way to get rid of cheating admin who kick ppl because they fail to beat them fairly...

I don't honestly see why DICE can't release the build they are testing as a closed beta to the 2142 community, as that's the whole point of beta testing, to report any glitches and so on, they done it with 1.40 & 1.50. Hey a vast majority of us done beta testing for bad company 2.
